I believe you misunderstood my comment. I am defending the monks of Esphigmenou against the persecution of the Patriarch, not defending the Patriarch.
NO to HERESY! NO to Ecumenism! NO to Union with Rome and other heterodox! NO to watering down Orthodoxy in order to achieve that Union (which is appropriately called "False Union")! The Canons will NOT be compromised! The Apostolic and Patristic Tradition of the Church Fathers will NOT be compromised. The Teachings of the Councils will NOT be compromised!
LONG LIVE the monks of Esphigmenou! GOD Bless and Protect and Keep the Monks of Esphigmenou!
This is another attempt by the Phanar heretics in Constantinople to starve these monks into submission and into commemorating the heretic Patriarch Vartholomaios (AKA Black Bart), but they continue to say ORTHODOXEIA H THANATOS, and will NOT bow to heresy and Ecumenism.
Mr. Brabant FYI it has been determined by the Greek courts that those monks occupy the monastery illegally (since the 70s). No reason to complain! The Greek state just enforces the law (at least partly). How does this issue relates to the Greek debt issue? I guess in your point of view idebt equals anarchy...
Yeah... Wait some answers from some conservative monks/priests and then the world will magically be good enough for their shit... And for your information, the Greek goverment increases (and has been doing that for many decades) money for founding the police and the military all throughout Greece... Now go back to sleep hopping to create conservative ships that believe in an imaginary friend...
even without the financial crisis, why should the government care about religious nutters non-violent quarrels?!? theyre just religious nutters, they believe in magic and worship imaginary friend, and thus are relics of the superstitious past. secular government should do everything in its power to disassociate itself from those morons.
the only good thing monks are for is that theyre free labor who preserve the old monasteries for tourists.
There are still monks who denounce the modern way of (luxury) living and practice ascetism, far away from what Efraim and his company did on the Vatopedi case, which are the ones that must be hunted by the Law. Oh, and don't forget our treacherous politicians, who sold our country to the Americans (IMF)
I think that a vid about the greek church's corruption would be more appropriate these days than an info about the greek church's household arguaments.
