  • if any of you are havin trouble with the knee/elbow part, its easier for a lot of people to put your knee on your tricep rather than your elbow. (so like a few inches or more above your elbow). If you put it directly on your elbow, your skin will likely slip aorund haha

  • @dsmhhhx bend your knee. i have arm fat and loose knees (xD), but if you bend you leg more, its a lot easier to put on your elbow. try putting it like 2 inches up your arm from your elbow btw, not on the joint

  • Don't place your elbw onto you knee.. take a look at your elbow and place it just above aka the sweet spot. that way you hold it easier and you can't slip

  • @gametje It's because he isn't locking his arm in a straight posistion. It's slightly bent, allowing alot of the stress to be absorbed. If you lock your arm in a straight posistion you are likely to break the fuck out of it.

  • @Th3Nguyen Best tip: Lick ur hand and wipe it on ur elbow, and then try it , you'll see the difference ;) it might be a bit gross to do that, but it works ;)

    itz more like

    the joint/socket right above yur elbow.

    When you hit it, it shud b fairly easy to balance

    as if yur knee and elbow lock into place together

  • how i did this i put both my legs on 2 start then i exstended 1 nd then lifted the other on off, its an easyer way to get balance

  • these guys are paid to make it sound/look easy... they never truthfully tell you that there's a whole line of training/conditioning and mentally understanding moves like Mills, 1990s, 2000s, Air Chairs and what not...

    It's all about how much you train... realistically you wouldn't get a move instantly on the first try or even the first 10 tries... if you do... damn are you lucky.

  • Yep i got swipes on my first try. Then master swipes on my 5th try. Just from these guy's vids. But yea your right, you need a certain foundation of physical ability to be able to adapt to these moves. If you can get these moves early...then...damn your F'in lucky

  • front shoulder workouts is something that would really help out with this. The more deltoid stamina you have, the longer you will be able to hold this. Wearing an elbow pad on your tricept helps reduce the amount of bruising that you will get when your starting to train on this balance

    and the weird thing is im right handed ;p so it messes up my transitions really badly :P

  • Yeah, I got the same problem. But in a way, it is a good thing because it forces me to come up with creative transitions. You get a unique flow by default.

  • It is easier if you grab on to something with the arm you are balancing like a chair or w/e. It also depends on what part of the elbow you put your knees at.
