  • Some of the lines have been edited from this edition. When Carrisford asks "what is this?" Crewe (in the original) replies "it is a cheque for a hundred thousand." Carrisford then says "I said that that was half the production cost; I never expected-" To which Crewe says "stocks and bonds bore me; I would rather invest a friend whose judgment I trust".

  • This is really the best version. Thanks for uploading this. :-)

  • Please English lyrics! It's very urgent! I want to translate the film into Polish.

  • The sets aren't so great, but the actors really make up for it.

  • @SusanBaudelaire I agree. It was clearly done on a modest budget, but the script was great and the actors (children and adults) are fantastic.I don't think they could have chosen a better Sara than Amelia Shankley.

  • I love this version of the movie it beats the crap out of the others. I was lucky enough to have this on video but something happened to it.

  • @tearose00 I'm sure you can find a copy of it on ebay...I did. Unfortunately, it is only on video and not DVD.

  • I really liked this adaptation, I was the only boy in my family, I have six sisters, and we used to watch it together every Sunday when it was first shown in 1986, I was about 9 at the time. Haven't met any other male fans of the story or this series

  • @pepayspring sorry i mean amelia. i dunno why i thought amanda was her name. hehehe

  • @pepayspring there is a scene where a carriage drives past Sara and she really looks like Emma Watson (I believe it is episode four) if you pause it, you'll see a striking resemblance
