  • for some reason, i want to say fuck you

  • For some reason, I find this quite enjoyable

  • ah... when I get lost in my own thoughts or I'm feeling down, I listen to Swans and I just feel so rejuvenated. the song just feels like olfactory rage, and it cleanses my mind of sadness. :D

  • i dont get this music is it meant to be intelligent, scary or both??

  • @eyesrdeeperbrown

i think it's just supposed to be unrelenting and heavy

  • I wish comments were not removed. Unless the comment is an advertisement. Censorship is lame. If you don't like what people post, move along. If we censored everything that a handful of people thought was offensive, we wouldn't progress as a society.

  • Great album, this. Wish I still owned it, thanks for uploading! Is the EP mentioned on the front cover the very first one which was originally released on Labor & has Sue Hanel playing guitar?

  • Check out Sektor 304 on MySpace if you like this

  • listening to this makes me realise Godflesh were nothing so original.

  • Flex your muscles.

  • got their album filth/body to body, job to job

for 11$ (that includes tax) used awesome stuff!

  • I don't really like the turn they took after the Children of God era, but I think Jarboe added a lot to Swans' sound, especially on their 86-87 live shows. And the last few years of their work is worth looking into - it may not be brutal and rhythmic like this stuff but it's just as powerful in a different way.

  • You know, youre actually right. I just listened to White Light... and I have completely reformed my opinion. That record is my personal favorite as of today. Holy shit, I was frickin wrong! Jarboe ftw. XD

  • only early Swans!

    stay here!

  • No swans record comes close to this. Not even Cop

  • Amazing!

  • "Filth" is a masterpiece

  • fuskin vocals are so brutal

  • Grindcore pioneers Napalm Death were influenced by Swans, and it's obvious from the first minute of this record. Very noisy, very ugly stuff.

  • Early Swans were the best!

  • I love children of god the most, then the great annihilator then body to body job to job/filth, however, this album is the most special album ive ever discovered. By any artist.

  • It doesen't matter if you're german, american, scandinavian, or any other person.

Michael Gira will always be > You.

  • image a concert with the swans, big black, pissed jeans, and shellac

  • WOW, I can definitely hear how much godflesh were influenced by them now.

  • Indeed ! its exactly extreme, loud and suffocating as streetcleaner 7 years later !

  • Cop sounds even more similar to Streetcleaner. I don't mind though, GF managed to keep evolving and developed their own unique sound.

  • Fucking heaviest shit ever. BE HARD! Thrust your fist.... FISTS!

  • i love this album from the first time i heard it!

    the best swans work

  • Ahhh! Fukk this iz the good shit!! >:(

  • my #1 album of all time...nothing comes close to this record

  • Its not about getting you pumped up.

  • i take this to the gym

  • I'll take this album to the grave with me.

  • hahaha excellent response

  • the ultimate workout record

  • Yeah ! You are right, best Swans allbum. Dark and Powerfull

  • Best early Swans album and one of the best of their career

  • Are you talking about my spelling of 'realise'? I'm pretty darn sure that it can be spelt both ways. I could be wrong but I don't think I am.

  • ATTN:

    TechnoIsFaggotCrap

You are propably the dumbest person I have ever heard of.

Please save my faith for humanity and admit that you are a troll.

  • I honestly hope the guy never reproduces. The gene pool is fucked up enough.

  • Do you realise how stupid you're making yourself look? Seriously, if you pull your head out of your arse for a second you'll realise how much of an idiot you are.

  • oh my god, shut the fuck up you dumb turk!

  • Who, me?

  • no i was talking to that stupid fucking turk who wont stop bothering you...

  • Is this a full lenghth album or just an EP?

  • Full length. Their are 3 other parts and a seperate video for Right Wrong.

  • Awesome.

  • best album

  • This is actually pretty catchy.

  • thanks for uploading this.

  • Thanks for putting this up!

Does anyone have the 'Kill the Child' live album? I would love to see that uploaded.

  • thank you for this i very nearly wet myself when i saw it up

  • Check out my channel for the last song off of the EP!

  • Yeah, I very much would like to hear the first EP. It is absolutely gone from the Earth, you can't even find samples of it anywhere.

  • hey you can get the ep with the filth reissue, its on amazon, check it out.

  • Stay here's one of my faves, cheers.

  • I plan to add that separate.

  • wow youve heard the ep?, whats it like?, i heard its nothing like filth or cop

  • Yes, its nothing like the rest. It bass heavy. Hopefully ill have one of their songs up soon.

  • @TriEdge36 What's the score with the EP? Is it the same EP that's on the reissued Filth/Body to Body, Job to Job thing?

  • It sounds very different from Filth and Cop, but it's interesting nonetheless.

  • hey is this the filth version with the EP as bonus tracks or not? heard everything else exept that.
