  • @MrCrapVideo It should be down down chuck up down up *chord switch* down down chuck. up down up *chord switch* down down chuck up down up *chord switch* down down chuck

    then it repeats over again

I hope tthis helps and is not too confusing as i figured this by ear :)

  • does anyone know what kind of uke it is? looks really nice

  • hey yo do have other video tutoria???

  • @ChronikL9 strumming pattern doesnt exactly matter, but everyone has a different way of playing it :}

  • now lets get back to hannah montana 0:38

  • now lets get back to hannah montana 0:43

  • I love your voice<3

  • @ChronikL9

Yeah that's how the strumming is supposed to be. I made this video back when I was still new at the uke, I didn't know the right strumming at the time. haha.

  • where do u get the black strings ?

  • @MrSillydino16 black string usually comes in stock i believe. get some D' Addario brand strings. prob the best for uke.

  • what about the chorus? :( is it too difficult to play?

  • what about the chorus - is it too hard to play or why don't you explain it?

  • lol Disney channel in the background

  • how do you do the scratch between chord changes?

  • "At Disney Channel.com!"

    This is awsome! Thanks!

  • THANK YOU I JUST LEARNED MY SECOND SONG!

  • whats the strum pattern for this song??

  • Yea! Go warriors lol

  • whats the pattern?... it goes down down chuck... and than i loose track....xD.. can u please write the pattern?....:D ... thank you...... nice tutorial btw

  • @Nikkoo1985

This is YVPrecise, I'm using my other account to type this comment to you.

Basically the strumming I did in this video was wrong. The real strum pattern is Down, Chuck, Up Up, Chuck Up and then you switch to the next chord. It's an easier strum pattern and sounds better. I made this video when I was still new at ukulele so I didn't really know what strum pattern would be good back then.

  • @BayBased thanks alot ...really kool to play....:D

  • yeah... go warriors....

  • hi :] can u help me out with the strumming? thanks.

  • yes i've got my chunk dialled!!!!!!!

  • thanks i can play ity now asome video

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for the tutorial, now I can play it on my uke , but I don't know how to do the "chunk" :( !!

  • ohh yeah, i was supposed to do a tutorial on how to chunk/scratch since people have been asking. hopefully i can make one soon!

there's a couple tutorials for that on youtube, though. you can also play this song without the chunks but it sounds better with it.

  • @Shanelly54. thats called chunking. they have tutorials on that. Its how i learned (x and thaanks so much for this tutorial !! this is the first song i learned on my ukelele. <3

  • i like how it sounds kinda like your clapping when you strum. how do you do that?

  • how do i strum it idk how to strum in learning how

  • @xXiiNfAmOuSXx156

I can't really explain it on text, so i'll just make a new tutorial for it. HellaBased is my new account (i'm not using YVPrecise anymore), so just go there to find the new tutorial. I'll make the tutorial next week.

    thanks (:

  • thanks you=) haha, this was really simple.

  • Its really easy to play :) thanks

  • good shit bro helped out alot

  • ayyyeeeee u frm the bay

  • hey did u know that if your ukulele sounds just like that one it could be used for the song Just Go by Akon ft Lionel Richie

  • Thanks for pointing that out, bro! I never even noticed that, haha.

  • Hi. I've just got a ukulele and was wondering how you make that taping or clicking sound in between each chord?

  • It's kind of hard to explain, but as you play the chord you have to gently put a part of your palm on the stings, so that all you hear is the scratch from the strum. Your palm kind of silences the chord.

Try it and let me know if it helped. If not, tell me what you're confused about and i'll try explaining it better. I might make a video tutorial on it, too.

It's possible to play this song without the scratch, though. I only used the scratch in this song cause it sounds better that way.

  • could you please help me?

what is that ukulele called, its beautiful :)

    x

  • Do you mean what type of Ukulele? Mine is a Makala ukulele. It's a concert size which is bigger than most ukes.

  • thanks man! :) do you know where i could get one

  • It depends what area you live in. You should try checking your local music store.

  • okay will do! thanks a lot for your time and consideration! :) its deeply apprieciated buddy!

    KEEP STRUMMING! :D

  • "and thats it, ahem, go warriors." LOLLOL haha

  • dayum 13000 views?

  • haha yeah but it didn't seem that much at first because my old sports vids used to get hella more views. lol.

  • i believe the strum pattern is DDXudu (lower case for quicker notes)

  • Yeah that's the strumming that I did.

But I think it sounds better to strum it DXUUXu; it's easier too.

  • LOL disney channel (:

  • Comment removed

  • try down scratch up up scratch

  • LOL ur watching disney channel ... its ok i still do

  • YEEE!

  • what's that noise inbetween the strums? it sounds like a slap but it doesn't look like it. good video btw.

  • It's called a "chunk" or a "scratch". It's a good thing to learn since it makes some songs on the ukulele sound better when you use it. I'll probably do a video on how to do it later on.

  • thanks that would be sweet.

  • thanks so much!

ugh the only thing im havign a hard time is

with the chunking. ive been trying for a month and i still cant do it

    :)

  • I think it's still possible to play the song without having to chunk. It didn't take me that long to learn to chunk though, i'll try makin a quick tutorial for it later on.

  • ooh that would be great!

  • yeah when i started playing uke, the week later i learned how to chunk. you'll get the hang of it once you get it down 3 times in a song. it makes your playing more versatile.

  • your video is good! but can you tell me about your up- and downstrokes?

  • down, down, up, scratch.

    up, down, up.

that's not the official strumming for the song but it's the way that i do it. try messing around with the strumming and you'll probably find a better way.

  • i heart disney channel " how long have u bin playing the uke??? SINCE 84"

  • "dude your uke vid doesn't even sound like you".

hahah i know. i don't know why though lol.

  • whats the strum pattern?

  • What tuning is your uke?

  • G C E A

  • disney channel, would be on haha

  • "Aaaaand, that's it. Go Warriors."

    Hahaha. Good job!
