  • can you die of a bullet?

  • where'd you get the suppressor and is it legal?

  • making that thing .22 is like shortening your penis.

  • wait arent silencers illegal? just askin

  • @MrPhillba They are called suppressors, and are legal in the US with an ATF class 3 tax stamp.

  • @therealjarett oooooohhh ok

  • really a great 22 build there mike., great taste indeed., i have a warlock too so im kinda biased.., ahaha , but hell a 1299$ dollar 1911 makes a great host., u better not let me find the 22 conversion for my beretta m9 or i might have you beat.., unfortunately, its made of unobtainium, the m9 conversion that is:(

  • Thanks for putting up these videos. I've always been wondering exactly how much quieter silencers make guns sound, since I've known for a while that Hollywood movies and video games make them sound stupidly quiet. It seems like the big difference in sound comes more from using subsonic ammo instead of supersonic ammo, and the silencer helps some of the way, though.

  • @UlgarFireMage Wouldnt use this as a guide these are .22LR bullets so are extremely silent whereas if they were .45 ACP or a 9mm it would be allot louder

  • your fire arm is faulty the slide catch does not work you need to take it to a gun smith

  • @gramerable

No bolt hold open with that set.

  • Shoot the subsonic bullets and you wont hear a thing

  • @Bronnil858

Those are subsonic from a 4 inch barrel. If they were going supersonic there would be a huge difference in sound.

Subsonic .22lr from a pistol are still relatively loud.

  • That is a full size 1911.. barrel is 5 inches. 4 would be commander, and that is not a commander model. I own about 40 some-odd 1911's, and speaking from personal experience.

  • @lucastimmer Taking forever to get a gun doesn't make alot of sense I bet you guys can't even concealed carry or open carry. Hence criminals have nothing to fear.

  • @lucastimmer go find out the ratio of population and you will find that we in fact have much lower then the Netherlands crime rates. Also when guns are taken away and only the government or police can have them. Thats the Holocaust. Hitlers first objective was to disarm the people.

  • @armypenguin

Actually the Nazi firearms laws made it easier for the populace to buy, own and carry guns than it had been under the Weimar Republics treaty of Versailles mandated laws. Of course that only applied to "Arian" Germans but the vast majority of the population was Arian German.

  • @mikeandnatasha not going to disagree but everything that I have read made in impossible for anyone besides military and police to get firearms. Either way he disarmed the jews and thats who he was after.

  • A lot of what you read about the Nazi regime and gun control is revisionist crap. Yes, they were all screwed up but the truth is that the German population was completely disarmed by the treaty of Versailles after the 1st world war in 1919 and it got even worse in 1920's "Law on the Disarmament of the People.". The Nazi gun control initiative relaxed the Treaty of Versailles provisions considerably and was actually the blueprint for our 1968 GCA. It greatly relaxed the Weimar firearm policy.

  • @lucastimmer Yep Europe (minus Switzerland) is fucked up.

  • @armypenguin Minus Finland as well.

  • i want the 1911 to have a higher ammo capacity in their clips. i mean like even the Mk.23 and the USP beats it. but i still love the 1911.

  • @BSMTSinger33274 That is because 1911s are single stack if you look at the width of a MK.23 you will see that it is about 3/4 of an inch wider which doesn't sound like much but when the 1911 is only 1 inch it is a big deal. Also double stack mags are harder to load and are negligibly more prone to jams.

  • nice 10 rounds quiet nice i like to get my hands on one of these with suppressor nice one there i buy of these as well

  • that was kinda loud...

.22lr through a silencer/sound suppressor should be quieter, I suppose

(I think the short barrel should help to stay subsonic)

  • if i was you, i would move to Switzerland. they REQUIRE you to own a weapon there.

  • yooooo u own bare burners dis guy has a AK, and bare hand tings

  • u think u got it bad in the UK with laws? Wait till u come to australia mate. You need a lisence to own a paintball gun or slug gun and you need to pay for a club to own your own rifle AND we can't have a rifle thats in the .40 range. SUKS ASS!

  • How many of you Aussies actually turned your shit in or registered it? Wouldn't happen here.

  • got an aussie friend with 2 semi auto rifles stashed back in australia, he sais crime skyrocketed when they first took the guns

  • Saw a picture of a dump truck full of hunting rifles and shotguns that got their barrels bent into a U. Source I believe was in Australia.

Some turned theirs in, I'd imagine a lot didn't.

A license for a paintball gun...

What have those idiots done to your country?

  • Australia also has one of the worlds smallest crime rate which is a pro rather than a con i suppose.

  • All those people who didnt turn in their guns are criminals so I think the numbers might need updating.

  • Because owning guns makes people commit crimes? The Swiss keep military assault rifles in their homes. I dont see them going on shooting rampages.

  • @mikeandnatasha Not to leave the Finnish out...highest gun ownership rate in the world 66% and a very low crime rate.

  • Comment removed

  • @mikeandnatasha I enjoy your videos, but unfortunately I see a lot of idiots commenting on them, mostly talking about how we shouldn't own guns. You should tell them about what happened in Australia when they banned guns. For those that don't know, it cost them over $500 million dollars, homicides went up 3.2%, assault with firearms went up 8.1%, and armed robberies went up 44%! Smart people realize that the only people who WON'T have guns under such laws would be the law abiding citizens.

  • @mikeandnatasha not only that, the swiss have the lowest crime rate for any country, by far

  • @mikeandnatasha They are the most peaceful country in the world, as a matter of fact.

  • @JoeyD12345678 actually, both australia and britain have higher crime rates than the u.s, both of which have strict firearms control...

  • @JoeyD12345678 and what is the population in australia compared to the US...

  • @JoeyD12345678 What they do not they have horrible crime in Australia

  • cool gun

  • Who threaded the barrel?

  • Saylors machine aka liberty suppressors. If you look at their webpage that gun is featured on the front page. They must have liked it.

  • Do you have to use Hi Velocity .22 with the silencer to get the gun to cycle?

I've got the conversion, and it cycles just fine with Federal bulk, but I have the serious WANT for this suppressor system you have.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you before all of the NFA costs?

  • The silencer was $375 plus $200 tax. I use federal bulk pack . It cycles fine. The gun won't run with any lead nose bullets. It has to be copper plated.

  • Awesome gun man..

Ur going to be the next James Bond haha

  • I just need a few bond girls. Ursula Andress in her prime would do.

  • You lucky chaps. Here in England the Government has banned full bore semi-auto rifles (M14/Fal etc)in 1987. We are allowed rimfire .22 semis, but only .22 not .17hmr etc.

In 1998 they banned most pistols and so the UK Olympic Pistol team (HONEST!) fly to Switzerland to practise. SO BOYCOTT 2012 OLYMPICS its a sham operating a banned sport as a pr job for crap government.

More recently they have banned Hunting Foxes with Hounds.

London based rules going for the bunny-hugger vote.

  • I fear that we (here in the U.S.) will be in the same boat you are before long.

Sometimes I feel like expatriating to Switzerland.

The Swiss have the best rifles - Stg.90 is a masterpiece...and in most Swiss homes.

  • ya I think that might happen to us in the USA I would stock up on all the high-cap magazines and machine guns and shit

  • How do you like the silver finish on this gun? Since the finish is over aluminum it has me wondering about how it will hold up. (I would not be using it in a holster.)

It looks like one hell of a nice gun - thanks for showing it.

  • Mine is a springfield stainless frame with the kimber top end and not the entire Kimber .22 alloy frame model. I dont know that there is any finish on the kimber top end. Possibly its clear anodized. Hard to tell. FWIW I just picked up a .22 conversion for my SIG P220 and it was obviously made by the same manufacturer ( Ceiner ? ) and it is black and appears to be black annodized and is holding up well.
