Whoever is interested about the real cause of anorexia should really check out psychoanalyst Lacan’s theory about it. Anorexia isn’t about wanting to be thin and pretty, it’s not about fear of growing up or the media effects at all, it’s about putting a limit to mothers or whoever plays the mother role. Anorexic’s mothers are so peculiar in different ways.

i alway's had a problem with my weight..i completely stoped eating once,but then i had to start eating cause my family would start nocticing my massive weight change:/ i'm still struggling :l

To the 14 year old.. your a moron.

1. Its spelled "weigh" any actual anorexic would have that down pat.

2. Any anorexic would also know 2 stone is 24 pounds. .. there is no way in hell a 14 year old would weigh that amount even if you had anorexia and be alive.

I actually have the disorder, why don't you go off and pretend you have some other disease now.. but next time do your research that way you don't sound like an utter moron.

This was one of the most amazing and insightful videos 've ever seen about, bot only childhood anorexia, but eating disorders in general. You caught the mood extremely well, the pain, the sadness, the self-hatred. This is really awesome.

my cousin is in 7th grade & has suffered from anorexia for a little over 2 years.

she is thankfully in recovery now, but everyone was always in denial about it for the first year & a half.

i incredibly admire u for making this.<3

Anorexia is disgustingly ugly. And america is basically putting out the massage that super skinny is the only way you'll be accepted and little girls get stuck in it too early. its sick.
