THE funnest years at LSU!!!! CJ and Dale Brown. I was at this game and it was fantastic. Last second win!!! CJ! CJ! CJ! I will always have the memories.... and I have the SI's that he was on the cover of too! What a time!
silly goose, jackson would have been a senior in 1992, he came a year before shaq. also with a assemble of other talented players (gert hammik, stanley roberts)
The first time I saw Chris Jackson was in the O'connell Center when he was a freshman. He lit us up (the Gators) for 40 or 50 something points. He literally fouled out almost our entire team. He was raining in 3's from all over the court. My friends and I sat there in shock and we recognized his greatness. We lost the gsme, and we almost never lost at home in those days. He was truly one of colleges all time greats.
Chis Jackson is the greatest college basketball player ive ever seen. Im 30 yrs old and ive seen nothing like him since. no one is even close to avg. 30 plus a gm. Now days if someone goes for 25 thats a monster gm. I wish someone would put out the game of LSU vs Loyola Maramount when they had Hank Gathers. LSU wins like 143 to 141. Also, the year UNLV won the championship they lost 1gm that year at LSU. Final score was in the 120s.
Yes the LSU UNLV game in 1990 on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. It was pretty good came. Didn't UNLV have a few of their players suspended because they were calling people long distance with calling cards? Too bad LSU lost in the 2nd round to Georgia Tech, I thought if they got to the superdome in the sweet 16 they would have easily gotten to the final four!
Chris Jackson. Man was he great. You couldn't tell me that he wasn't the best when he was in college. I knew he was going to average 30 a game in the pros.
someone PLEASE PLEASE UPLOAD LSU vs Loyola Marymount 1990 and LSU vs UNLV 1990...these games would put many NBA games TO SHAME!!!!

Interesting that in this game, they used the same floor as the historic 1982 Final Four, with three-point lines (NBA and then-NCAA) at that time.

nice vid...i always wondered if LSU would've been national champs in '93 if both jackson and shaq would have stayed in school.
