I saw him in Louisville in June 1974 and he wore the same suit. As far as I know, there is no video from Louisville during the 1970's; 1974, 1976 & 1977. I would love to see him here, I shared that with my mom and she's no longer with me. I remember so well, her hand on my shoulder as he came onstage. An Elvis concert is nothing you will ever forget.
Actually there's a ton of footage, u just gotta find it. There's professional news footage of him actually leaving the hotel going to the Louisville show in '74. Also 8mm footage from that show. There's also a good amount of footage from his '76 & '77 shows there. I've also got alot of pics too. Message me if you are interested.
@Phoenix7878 Oh yes please, I am very interested! Seeing this footage of Elvis, it brings back the time in my life when I had my family; my mother, grandmother. When my father died 3/1974, he told my mom he couldn't be there to do it, so to make sure if Elvis came to Louisville, make sure I was able to go. And she did that - not just in 1974, but 1976 and 1977. Seeing that again would mean the world. I've seen the news story - but can't find anything else. If you can help, I'd be so thankful.
This is from June 23rd 1974 Philadelphia pa. 3:00pm show, At the 8:30pm show Elvis wore the American Eagle suit. He first wore this suit, the Peacock suit in LA, but this footage is from Phila.
This Jumpsuit was in the Paul Lichter collection,at least by 1983,that is a fact.I presume Elvis give it to him,I'd like to know the History of how paul obtained it.
This beautiful 1974 jumpsuit, was designed and made by Bill Belew at a cost of $10,000
But get this: Although it was one of Elvis personal favourites, Graceland insanely auctioned the suit in 1999, and accepted $300,000 for it from a private collector. At the same auction, Elvis' 1956 Lincoln Continental MKII was also sold for $295,000
Show was at Cleveland Public Hall, that much I do remember. I was there, but honestly don't remember a lot. After all...granted it was The King but it was also the seventies!! LOL

Let's hope Graceland doesn't sell Graceland next.

One of my favorite suits of Elvis the peacock. Wish the footage was clearer but great to see this rare footage.
Thanks for sharing it with us!

From the looks of the jumpsuit, it's almost definitely Cleveland 1974!
Thanks for the cool footage!
