  • Thumbs up if you downloaded the film after listening to the son and watching the video.(no matter if you have watched it)

  • you did very well on this video

  • this is perfect! i always thought the revival of cabaret was something out of a tim burton movie!!!! i love it!

  • We had to do a routine to this song in our dance class while carrying around giant coins above our heads. XD

  • I love the movie !

  • make $8+ a day in less then a month NO SKILLS /watch?v=BMPhsRN19Ms

  • this is so beautifully haunting.

  • :) souper video !!!

  • Listen to this song after hearing "Love Makes the World Go Round" and the contrast is deliciously chilling.

Oh, and Dr. Wonka always liked his older son Gene Wilder better than this wierdo!

  • @MsPandaRosa He loved them both equally. You cannot choose between your children <3

  • @ktpoole891

True, but then the Wonka brothers are not my sons.

  • @MsPandaRosa Do you mean "Love Makes The World Go Round" From "Carnival?"

  • @TheTheater4life

Yes. There's a weird and frightening symmetry in hearing them together.

  • this is my jazz song(:

  • Money'$ spontaneous occurrence, composes durations " everywhere " , while anywhere @, anytime monetary currencies, quiet more than, often aspire from, a " richer " source, philosophized not in, " I'll forever love, rollerblading " chronologically through, extra mundane domain’s , occurring spontaneous money !

  • Jewish religious song!?

  • @mfilip62 whahahahahaha

  • @mfilip62 @mfilip62 The (I assume unintended) irony of this comment is astounding.

(Just so you know... This song is from a play about Berlin in the late 1920s/early 1930s and the rise of the Nazi party. The Cabaret MC, who sings this song, satirizes antisemitism in the show.)

  • @mfilip62 anti-semite much?

  • money money hehehe!!

  • I Love this version !

  • The way he say \OHhhhhhhh huger

  • @camdidafart : I believe it's German more than Danish :) Danes speak like.. You know with a hot potato in the back of their mouths. (I'm a dane, I should know. We sound fucked)

  • @FreakOfDk Jamen jeg vil ikke sammenligne det med bagt kartoffel

  • @FreakOfDk Could be worse! You could sound American nasal..

  • bromero!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The German/Danish accent is scary

  • love ittttt !!!!!!!

  • my friend told me that the guy who sings this is the same guy who plays nightcrawler in the Xmen movie. is that true?

  • Yes, also Fegan Floop the villian in Spy Kids 2....

He has been in a lot actually.

  • @ktpoole891 yeah i know he was in spy kids ^^ i love him mostly because i LOVE nightcrawler

  • @LESTATxLOUISE he was Boris in Goldeneye too! he's a fantastic actor.

  • Diz the shit i am danceinq to thiz sonq i dance classes

  • Johnny Depp sitting in a barber's chair just makes me think 'CUT THROAT!'

    LOL

  • mad?

  • money makes the world go around, chocolate makes the galaxy go round

  • i love it, this is very true. hahaa. weryy clever. :)

  • I'm doin a hip-hp dance and this is the intro. My brother has a pert in it and he has this top-hat on and all and he's walking with a cane and all of the other dancers are hobo's that he's summoning or something like that. And then it breaks into "Money Maker" "Gold Digger" and then "Got Money"

  • Genius! Thank you for such an amazing extrapolation!

  • this version of the song makes me feel alittle bit uncomfortable.

  • this is from film : The Chocklate Factory :)

  • such a good work!

  • this is our recital song for lyrical!

  • No way!!

The junior comp team is doing a dance to this song!!!

  • @ThatxDitzyxGirl13 Sadly, its probably Joel Gray's Version that you are singing. I love the darker version of this song though :).

  • nope i'm sure it's this version. and yeah i like this version better too (:

  • Joel Grey's Show and Alan Cummings's Show were completely diffrent. Joel's was more festive and happy, Alan's showed more of a sinister and grim outlook to the story. Diffrent Directors, Diffrent Outcomes :)

  • yes, but for our lyrical dance we're telling a story, of course about rich people who've lost all their money. i'm absolutely sure it's this version.

  • Cool, good luck with your dance

  • thanks.

  • i love this song, me and my friends listened to it in class....MAKES ME LAUGH !!!! :)

  • I do not like this song but It is a good music video

  • i lyk this

  • WOW! youshouldbuyakeyboardwithaspacebar.

  • yall gotta give alan cummings a break.... he kinda scares me in this role.. but i mean obviously its not better then the original. the original is LIZA FREAKIN MINNELLI AND JOEL GRAY!! two amazing actors

  • Great job with this! It fits the movie perfectly!

  • Just doesn't live up to Joel Grey. Each to their own.

  • I agree. I prefer Joel Gray much better. And the Liza Minnelli and Joel Gray version to this song is better i reckon

  • lmfao eugh hunger

    i love this song

  • I so love this song !!!

  • it's on itunes i think cabaret revival 1998

  • our school do the musical at the moment I really like this song and also the "Wilkommen" song :D

  • I'm doing Cabaret at school. This song is sung in the Cabaret and is about the depression in Germany and how many people had to resort to prostitution to stay alive.

  • we're doin this song in dance and we r hobos and its hysterical!! but its also really kool cuz we hav all these kool moves in it

  • No, I mean on screen lyrics. Of this version. I can't find any.

  • interesting adaptation

  • Con la musica de Cabaret se vuelve un poco tenebroso XD

  • Un poco solo? xD me encanta, pero es algo macabro! :D

  • Oooook, now that was creepy.

  • i love this song

but in cabaret is it realy better!!

  • this is soo creepy ... LOVE IT

  • it's even more creepy when you think of it with the depression in the 1930s and the nazis

    euurgh gives me shivers :S

  • the nazis had nothing to do with the depression though....

  • they did

Hitler dragged Germany out of the deoression by emplying people to build motorways

we're doin it in history at my school atm :)

  • ok...but this is set in Germany so why would you be talkin about America?

  • @kirstyasher2 America is a mess

  • @ondrando lol and? This song and the play has nothing to do with America...don't really understand how America being a mess links the effect the depression had on Germany/the rise of the Nazis.

  • @kirstyasher2 America is a mess

  • @kirstyasher2 Germany's strength. America sucks. And I do not care about that does not even mention in the video but it's true.

  • @ondrando of course it doesn't mention it in the video cos the songs been put to scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory hahaha

  • Who song this?

  • this song is so true, in a human world money does make the world go round

  • ncie love da song

    and da movie

  • Liza and Joel are just amazing at this!

  • Very good version, sinister but money is even more sinister...

  • very true..very true..

  • Money is a manifestation of all evil - Mandy

    The grimm adventures of ...

  • When I first saw Cabaret (the original), this was my favorite song. However, I like this version better than the original now that I've heard it.

  • it is not Scary it is simply just a nice little jingle that should be used for a bank

  • Like the original better. This is just scary.. O_O!!!!!

  • be quite the singing rox lol

  • This verson was written for the musical Oliver. But is used for Cabaret in the theatre.

  • My, I never knew that. Is it used in any versions of Oliver, or was it abandoned completely?

  • the joel grey version is better

  • Its from the musical Cabaret
