I still have tv's, but I cute cable about the same time as this video. I love it & don't miss it at all. We watch Netflix & Hulu & that's all we need.

I haven't had my TV one since the switch to digital & I didn't receive the 1 over the air station I expected to get. I haven't had cable since 2003 when move from town back to my rural residence, but I basically traded cable for a wireless internet connect because dial up is so poor for me. I do plan on putting up a outdoor TV antenna, that should get CBS, PBS for sure, maybe ABC & fox as well.

Food stores a is not hoarding, but preparedness, preparedness is compatible with minimalism.

it would be a lot less clutter if you get a kindle or nook instead of actual books

Love the idea of no tv! We are not doing that at the moment, but have in the past, and are talking about it for the future. I love the old classic tv on Hulu, and you an get free books and audio books online as well! Stay in where you are cool, and get a free read! What kind of books do you like, Beth?

my daughter and her husband got rid of cable too, they use the internet and watch there, (they have a couple of kids too) I use to have anxiety attacks and the dr. told me to shut off the tv... it helps ALOT !! now I only watch maybe 1 hour a day if that. I love the library for book, think spending $ on books if foolish. love your videos. thanks for doing them.
