@freightdog09 yea it was. but i kept gettin impatient and got like 2 game overs running from that robot that tries to punch u. and the final boss is amazing.
Beat the whole game without dying UNTIL THIS STAGE, it made me not worthy to play a Sonic game. 75mins on the 360 very to beat this, and i heard the fastest time is 8mins.
The 360/PS3 version of Eggmanland is one huge level combining both day and night. Every so often there is an hourglass that you hit to switch between the werehog and hedgehog in order to get across the next part. It is very hard so I recommend stocking up 30 or so lives, because right after that are 3 boss battles. (Egg Dragoon, Dark Gaia, Perfect Dark Gaia.) Crimson Carnival will chew you up and spit you out.
But once you get past EggmanLand, the boss is easy. Then you beat the boss, and even if you die on a Dark Gaia level (which those levels suck.) you can just select "Go to EggmanLand" and you just do the boss again, instead of the stage.
I gotta give credit. Sonic Unleashed on the PS3 & 360 is a pretty challenging game and this last level is no exception. It really makes the situation more nostalgic with the difficulty of games back in the day and it makes the other 3-D Sonic games look like a walk in the park.
at X360, took me less than 30 mins. I got a B. (I'm excluding the fact that it took me more than 51 mins for the 1st time). The trick is... don't lose time with enemies, when you're with Werehog.
my god this stage was such a BITCH!!!!! I died 8 times in the in the first half day:3 night:5 and at the last part I died so many times that I went INSANE!!!!!!!!!! BAAAAAGGGGG
It has multiple portions of europe. For example, some of the people seem Itallian, French, and British (Professor Pickle). Not to mention the clock tower in the 360 version (not the one in the Wii version) was actually the Big Ben, which is from England.
not sure about a couple of these. Adabat could be any small island area. Apparantly its like the canary islands, but i wouldnt know. As for Spagonia, I went to Florence in italy recently and there is a striking similarity to that Spagonia going through the whole city.
I always thought Adabat was based on India or something and Spagonia was just Europe in general (but mainly France, Spain, and Italy). And I thought Shamar was supposed to be Egypt.
I wish the Wii version had a level subtitle... For ours, it's just called Eggmanland... I never heard of the name Crimson Carnival until I watched a gameplay video...
Um, I think you're thinking of Crimson Crater, not Crimson Carnival. And yes, in the X-Box 360 and PS3 versions, the level is called Eggmanland: Crimson Carnival. In the Wii and PS2 versions, it's just called Eggmanland.
I especially hated that sidewindy gate path sheer death crap towards the end. I'm cruising, full boost meter with 465 rings and I miss a dash panel, falling off the curve. I stared at the screen in disbelief, and was so pissed off, yelling wouldn't have been enough.
too much small pipes n stuff to constantly cross and i keep fallin off but the hedgehog parts are easy...if you use the shortcuts that way you skip most of the hazards and lose less lives lol
Well, the balance beams in the Werehog parts of Eggman Land are actually bigger then normal balance beams. (Don't make me relive Empire City. That level was hell.)
As a fairly new fan to the Sonic series, let me just that that... I must have died on this level about 30 times before I beat it!!! I practically have it memorized by heart now, that's how many times I've been through it. XD
you said it! it's cool, but hard! went game over a couple of times, so i decided to pack myself up with some 1up's in other stages before going to Eggmanland again.
btw, Eggman's childish side really comes up in that stage O_O
Apotos: Greece
Spagonia: A mixture of France and England
Empire City: United States
Adabat: somwhere on the coasts of Japan
Chunan: China
Holoska: Nunavut Canada or Greenland
Shamar: Arabia or Egypt one of the two
Eggmanland/Robotnikland: Hell
jmario232 7 months ago 3
@jmario232 I think it is:
Apotos: Greece
Spagonia: Italy/France
Empire City: New York/United States
Adabat: A weird jungle place or something like that
Chun-nan: China
Holoska: Alaska
Shamar: Arabia/Egypt
Eggmanland: Yup, it's the Hell
RosalinaAndPeach 3 months ago
@RosalinaAndPeach Although similar names, I think Holoska is based of Antartica.
I hate the cold Alaska stereotype...
ReligiousHero 3 months ago
@ReligiousHero My fave place will always be Shamar XDXD
RosalinaAndPeach 3 months ago
@RosalinaAndPeach Adabat: The place was based off Southeast Asia, but the flag is designed from Thailand's flag. Spagonia is just Europe in general.

Adabat is actually more along the lines of a south American continent
Darkoutcast44 2 years ago
I actually agree with you but SEGA confirmed that it was based of an Asian environment, not to mention the ruins definately feel Aisian.
Jacktheinfinite101 2 years ago
That clock tower is the Big Ben so yes England. Also Professor Pickle has an English Accent.
Jacktheinfinite101 2 years ago 2
It's just a generic clock tower.. you see them all over the Continent.
tmsdonline 2 years ago 2
I actually googled the Big Ben. It looks different from other clocktowers like the one in Florence Italy.
