Yes it did, but I had so much regrowth, that this little slit is all that's left. I furthered the regrowth, because the split was all crooked. I have to cut my tongue web agein, then pierce and stretch it, then I will cut an cauterize it. I estimate that I will have a fully healded, completely (meaning really far back) split tongue by Christmas this year.
