fun game, however the mines of moria set is in my opinion too unevenly matched, the fellowship are so much more powerful, i played with my couson and he thought he would win once he brought his troll in i killed it in three turns in a row with boromire....to easy
@KatesGB1 Really? I actually thought that the goblins were better! (in my opinion) because It's pretty hard to close the trap doors when you're being swarmed by goblins, and lose if the fellowship loses 4 people. Maybe it's just me, but I dunno. I think it's even enough.
@TheJamesDun it's not that closing the doors is overly easy it's just to easy to defeat goblins with the main warriors of the fellowship, even with four or five to one, and the troll just isn't that good, gimli has two more defense than him, and if using legolas expert archer rule the troll is almost useless but in the end i think if you have the right strategy you can win on either side, specially if you go for the hobbits :)

Get a life, if this is what you spend your days doing then your a waste of space. I've made friends and had fun with this, so I couldn't care less about what you say.
Its great, addictive, and quite expensive (not as expensive as some hobbies but you will find yourself constantly wanting more units of warriors). But getting into this was one of my best decisions, through it ive made about 9 like minded friends, gotten hours of enjoyment out of every boxset. Oh and everything you here about us being social rejects isnt true
Attitude of gamers is important. If browsers and passers by see gamers having a laugh rather than frowning in an all-or-nothing "I must win at all costs" attitude it will influence their decision to try it out and their opinion of gamers in general.

Social rejects my ass. I find playing this game very sociable. But the rules to this game need some attention after War of the Ring came out.
