As cliched as it might have been, I didn't want Jal to abort. A part of Chris would have lived on in that baby, and viewers could have come away with the fantasy that Chris/Jal (the idea of them) lived on in a combo of the two: the baby.

So I'm sorry if it rankled a few feathers, but if you don't mind, I'm (and others who agreed are) sticking to that opinion.
