I caught my lionfish in Florida and brought it all the way home to TN my father is a FWC officer in the KEYs and it is now legal to use the liontamer a certain type of spear.
I agree. I have taken the course from REEF.ORG and have the certificate to remove lionfish from the sanctuary in Key Largo. My wife spotted this one outside the sanctuary but we didn't have our nets on the boat. I wanted to use a gallon ziplock bag but the guy in the video said that would take to long and I should just film his expertise. You can tell he's a character. The reason I posted the video was literally to show people this is NOT the way to do it because of collateral damage.
