Ok, so it cracked my selfmade 4 letter password in 10 secs.

But other password about 8 letters long it couldn't crack with the free rainbow table.

The password will be cleared regardless if it is Administrator or a normal user password. The good thing for this software is that you can use it in future on any PC to remove any password, most other software have a limitation that you can use it only once on 1 PC.

hey instead of a cd burner get DAEMON TOOLS. free to install, it will mount the ISO for you on a ghost drive... so no need for cds!

3. Burn the CD and start the boot up thru CD

4. Opened the ophcrack thru linux and before it opened the GUI interface(which i selected) i saw an error on the cmdprompt which was beneath the OPHCrack GUI, which read iconv_open failed, what does that mean ?

5. Regardless i let the ophcrack run but at the end it says "not found" for my user

When ur pc in turning on hit either DEL or F11, and this should take u to a blue screen. After ur here select something that says BIOS, once u select that, there should be something that says "Boot Sequence" click on that and then change ur 1st one to the one that says CD-ROM/DVD

5. DO NOTHING!!!!! Wait for the program to do its magic! and you will see a progress on the main window ( NOT the CMD (Command) window ( gray and blue)

once the progress is completed the password will appear..

On a Windows Vista Home Edition 32bit

From the new version of OPHRACK:

1. Follow video instructions slowly and carefully!

2. When it comes to burn the .ISO file do it at x2 slow burn! So no errors occur!

3.Boot CD and press the pause button during start up to stop the start up and press the key that lets you get in to the "Boot menu" ( F12, ESC, Space bar) can be anything! ( All depends on your make of computer)

4.load CD and select automatic when the CD has loaded
