I bought an ECS GF8200A and it died after about 4 days (the hard drive controller fried). I ordered the exact same board again from eBay and the new one died in about 2 days with the same problem! I got smart this last time and got an ASUS. Do not buy ECS.
I would stay away from ECS motherboards and DEFINITELY PC CHIPS motherboards! PC Chips are hands down the shittiest motherboards ever produced.. and... *surprise* they're part of ECS!
Just flashed an ECS board exactly right and now the entire system is dead. Wont even post. I learned my lesson, just not worth the hassle when you can buy an Asus for $10-$20 more.
had mine fer about 2 yrs but it held on fer the good fight ya it failed first wouldnt boot all the time...,then wouldnt read the pci slots....then the just died but hey you get what you pay for...dont pay 50 bucks for a board and expect it to compare to a 100 dollar on
LOL i got a free ecs mobo and i decided to overclock it to the max and see how long it would last interesting enough its still being overclocked way above my sli xfx am2+ mobo and still working...
that sucks dude mine runing fine with a AMD9850 with a ECS 9800GTX and 4GB of Crucial Ballistix tracer 1066 and 800watts psu with cerative x-fi plat with a 22" samsung 2ms monitor. I never overclock my CPU beside set the memory timing at perrty tight and run 2.18v and added a northbridge cooler Thermalright hr 05 sli and CPU Thermalright 120 ultra with fan
I still can't decide what sucks worse. The ECS board that dies in a month (maybe right away) or the ECS tech support which is just as clueless.
After my horrible experience with ECS, I'll avoid them for life. This is precisely why their motherboards only sell for $50 bucks. They are total garbage.

ECS motherboards are great, I've never had one fail on me.
Just kidding.

My friend has one and he got what he payed for. To me, I defined ECS as Extremely Crappy Shit
