I tried adding the old Dick Dale track to the new revamped version and I say it fits very well. If the current track was replaced by the old Dick Dale track, most people would not see a big of a difference, since the ride is the same, just different music, but for Space Mountain fans, it might either be better, or not so good depending on Dick Dale sound track fans or current soundtrack fans.

Not exactly on the spot (in the ride their is only 2 left turns, i counted three here. Also there is A couple of parts that are a bumpy sort of fall. there was nothing of the sort.) but this is pretty acurate. Cool.

@MrMystery96 Just to clarify, I did not make this track. I just recorded it and added music. This track was created by YouTube user spacestation77. I am pretty sure they have made a better version by now. I suggest everyone check out that channel for a video of this ride with all of the scenery. I had to remove the scenery because this track ran slow on my old computer and would not sync up properly to the music.

I have never actually been on this ride, so that would explain any other mistakes.

This isnt a spot-on recreation. the turn at 2:21 or 6:08 is supposed to go right, as i remember.

also, after the final brake run, the right turn is only supposed to be 1/4 of a helix. not 1/2.

I remember the old Dick Dale music operated only sporadically, which was too bad. I liked that music. I was fortunate enough to hear it a couple of times after it was first installed, but at my next visit to Disneyland Space Mountain was silent. I was disappointed. I love the new soundtrack now though. I think they should sometime bring back the Dick Dale soundtrack temporarily as one of their specials, like Rockin' S.M.

for the 2005 version the sound is off because they don't use the extended version of the song at the end where it's 10 seconds more. they just make the coaster go faster.

Yes, the whole ride was sinking into the ground. If they hadn't fixed it the whole structure would have caved in, so they decided to revamp the whole thing while they were at it.

The second one isn't timed exactly right. On the 0g drop, it should be the snare fill, so the coaster was late. But still an awesome recreation! NoLimits is not an easy program to use. Plus, the real ride has sensors to make sure it stays in time with the music.

Both new and old Space mountain have the same layout. Same turns and same everything.And that turn at the end is a full right hand turn. It just seems to be a half turn but in reality its not.
