Vayne was nothing! I tried a million times to beat Zodiark, but never could! I beat all the other side quest espers except him. :( Hell Wyrm was the sickest battle, ever! I loved it! Pure strategy.

You think this guy was something, anybody face some of the bosses outside of the story line? Like the Hell Wyrm? That monster literally took me about an hour and 45 minutes to beat, and my whole party was on level 60 or higher. I also did the trick where you cast haste and beserk on a party member to increase damage and the speed of my normal attacks for the whole battle.
at the right lvl this guy was definetly a challenge no doubt but he was not harder than ultima her battle was freakin epic i love battles where im hanging on the edge of death from start to finish and it feels so good to grasp victory
Vayne was the most easiest boss I have ever fought in final fantasy to be honest with you >.>.... the Optional Summed Esper Bosses are ten times more Devastating Zeromus was one of them then it came to the Yazmat which it's hard yet easy... You have to really focus on the health, and life of the teammates and use your leader to stay far back end of him...... other then that his Health is absolutely ridiculous...
@URBANRIVALSLegend Really I found the Undying quite difficult and I had taken the trouble to beat both Zeromus and Ultima. For me he was harder then those two anyway.
The fight increases with your level. I beat it the first time at avg level 55, then when I beat it again at level 99 with all hunts done, it was much more difficult.
@PaivasCWrestling Hrm... I think FFX has superior gameplay to many entries in the series, since the combat system is the best turn-based system ever IMO, but I think there there have been better stories.
XII has the superior story to me. Treating nethicite as fantastic nukes makes for quite an interesting take on the tried and tiered "magic crystals" plotline. FFX was just, "evil religion" and we've seen bazillions of those. They're nothing new.
Personally, I think they should include Vayne in the Dissidia after Duodecium if they decide to make one, a monk for Chaos's side. The semi transformed state at 1:05 to 1:13 could be his EX mode. Not sure about his ultimate attack, though.
@Dragonite345 i'd really like to see him as a DLC character in Duodecim. He's got a lot to offer. We've yet to see a Mystic Knight-type fighter, and vayne can add to that with his fists and his sephira swords.
@Idunhavanamez Obviously, he'd become the Undying in EX Mode, and his EX Burst would probably be quickening, using his cinematic moves from the final battle
@SpiderGuy20 and like gabranth, if you have did 1 or 2 quickenings, a cinematic move HP attack would be use example: 1 quickening = Ascension(not sure wat its called)
@Dragonite345 Both Mega Flare, Tera Flare i think, as those are his special attack during this battle.
EX mode should call Power of Occurian etc. and will be in the form you've just said.
EX burst should call Undying Flare etc. and just Mega Flare for missed input, and Tera Flare for success input.
In EX mode he'll get the Sephira swords as offence or defence support, and a special move "Piercing Magicks" which fires random high rank magic etc. (i think that's a bit over powered...)

All you had to do in the third part was have one character constantly use curaja while you couldn't use any attacks / magics...

you know the messed up thing is...i found this very easy. the one boss i had the most trouble with was the one right before you go out to the paramina rift. Fuckin status ailiments....but now i just do this fight for the lulz and to pass time....
after you defeat the undying, a DRAGON Bahamut should have burst out of the fortress, and then vayne merges with the Bahamut. then all the Mist and metal should have re-gathered into the new vayne to create "Bahamut DOOM", which has exactly one billion HP and a final attack that destroys the universe. :o

I think The Undying was pretty cool, and well, not difficult to beat but you needed to be observant and have alot of patience. ...at least it took A LONG time for me to beat this guy, felt like an hour.
u have to use gambits ally any arise *self bravery *self protectga *self shellga 80%hp ally curaja foe any attack(when normal and magic shield) foe any scathe (when melle atacks shield is on) 3 pair of bubble belts *-if undying using perfect dispelga turn off these gambits u need good armour like 3 pair of maximilian helmet doesn't matter 3 pair of aegis shield i used excalibur but excal made fighting only a bit faster normal dmg 2.5k excal 4.2k
From what I've seen, 13 does have a certain form of random battles, but you see the enemies onscreen before going into the battlescreen (it's different to FF12).

I think most Hardcore FF fan (me and whom else) would kick this guys fairly quick because we like to level and be overpower and shiz and do sidequests and make the game long then again u could be the story type u hate boss battles they cant win and never progress in story so u give up. im just sayin. Uhm... It's the same with any other final boss. After you beat them, the game is over. That's it. You'd have to do missions and side-quests before the final battle.
you still always can retrieve your game from where you left it in your last save before heading up to the final confrontation. I was expecting FF X12 to be like FFx and FFx-2 meaning that i would be able to restart the game from the beginning at the same level ( 60+ ) with the fast forward feature but i just found out that when it's over, it's over..............
you can start again from your previous save file before the bahamut if you saved. is there a save crystal on the bahamut? if you want to play more side quests and hunts, dont save over a slot in the bahamut. create a new one!

Haha I didn't really realize that it was the two scenes together
so i was like what XD when he started to fall apart. It was kinda amusing to see him bulk up and become all epic just to fall apart right after lol.
I think The Undying was pretty cool, and well, not difficult to beat but you needed to be observant and have alot of patience. ...at least it took A LONG time for me to beat this guy, felt like an hour.

First cutscene: Epic until about 1:20. Then it just gets into overkill. I would have thought a huge robotic suit would have been in order there.
Second cutscene: Not enough epicry in the explosion. And not enough explosion - Things just falling off? What's got into these people?!

From what I've seen, 13 does have a certain form of random battles, but you see the enemies onscreen before going into the battlescreen (it's different to FF12).

Yea I have also seen the new clip's of FF13 Battle's or tthe DEMO Gameplay.
RANDOM FTW!!!!!
In 13 they seem to Appear a split second before entering Battle.
Then theres a Screen Change, what I would describe much like FF-10 Battles!
Also I read theres an ATB Bar and different moves use so much of your Bar and you are able to COMBO 2or3 moves in 1 Attack!

I think most Hardcore FF fan (me and whom else) would kick this guys fairly quick because we like to level and be overpower and shiz and do sidequests and make the game long then again u could be the story type u hate boss battles they cant win and never progress in story so u give up. im just sayin. From my point of veiw of the boss if u got to this boss on when boss battles by luck YOUR SCREW! U gotta admit though he cool i think they didnt want him to be overpowered for hardcore or regulars.

shit bro, i'm one of those lucky people. Everytime i get to the last form of the last boss I die INSTANTELY! I gave up even trying to beat him. I had to, i didn't want to break my ps2 over this shit!

Uhm... It's the same with any other final boss. After you beat them, the game is over. That's it. You'd have to do missions and side-quests before the final battle.

you still always can retrieve your game from where you left it in your last save before heading up to the final confrontation. I was expecting FF X12 to be like FFx and FFx-2 meaning that i would be able to restart the game from the beginning at the same level ( 60+ ) with the fast forward feature but i just found out that when it's over, it's over..............

you can start again from your previous save file before the bahamut if you saved. is there a save crystal on the bahamut? if you want to play more side quests and hunts, dont save over a slot in the bahamut. create a new one!

@KOSMITA1995 Npe the games done but you can always go back and finish missions of you want to and re-fight the final boss but who really wants to do that again as easy as he was to beat haha

Angelic villains are just a theme of Final Fantasy. I don't think they ever expected Undying to be like Sephiroth in any way.
