@BIHxJDMxSUPRA People don't understand how much power it takes to trap 127-130 in a car weighing over 3500lbs with me in it. I need to make some new vids at 665 whp. It's trapping 133-135, but I'm still only running a 11.01. I'm only 2/1000ths from a 10 which is my goal on 17" street tires. I suck at launching and need my suspension tweaked because I'm getting no weight transfer to the back. My traps are good for mid to low 10's if I had slicks. Plus my poor car needs a driver mod lol.
first off genius's, the stang was a centrifugal charger so it pulls like a raped ape at high rpms. when that pulls over 4-6 car lengths in one gear, thats showing 500+hp like nothing. gt35 sti's just cant compete with that power with super short gears. we all know awd cars need another 50whp to counter the weight difference, especially topend

Physics alone dictate you'd have to make 515whp to run that much mph in the 1/4 with a 3400lb car .. There's also vids of me racing c5 Zo6's, 03 Cobras and winning also. Takes x amount of hp to move x amount of weight to x amount of speed in an X amount of distance.. There's also a dyno vid of the mustang making a 665rwhp now. There's not point of reference so there no way to tell how fast the cars were accelerating, but your dyno calibrated eyes know though lmao.

Yes subaru's are not good in a roll. I own a mustang. two of my friends owned mustangs sold them and bought wrx's Their cars are not good from a launch and they admit it because there is not enough torque to go with the car, and subaru's are heavy. They also seem to be having a lot of engine trouble with their wrx's. Plus they are spending hundreds of dollars to gain so little horsepower in those 4 cylinders. yes people need to know their cars and research them first before they talk.
Everything you said is true expect for the last part and launches. Subarus will always make more power with basic bolt-ons over na motors. A simple tune + turbo-back exhaust normally nets over 70+ awhp. That's over a 100+ crank hp with simple bolt-ons. No mustang will ever net such gains with those mods. These cars are AWD, they are great for launching and have no traction issues at all. Low-end torque sucks, but once the turbo spools it makes the torque of a V8 engine.
@jakubgt1 I've seen a stock 03 Mustang Cobra make an extra 100 with a SC & crank pulley change. I have seen a 2011 NA 5.0 Mustang GT make an extra 60 from an exhaust & cold air intake & retune. My SC'ed GT made 86 more hp from cams at only 11 psi. It was 429 n 515 after, no increase in PSI like a turbo back would give a turboed car. The 11 psi was peak because centrifuge SC's build until redline the average psi is less. Now I make 665 @ 20 psi peak on 93 oct pump gas . V8's like boost 2.
Do your research the sti is a pig 3400 lbs just as heavy as the sn95 mustang. Why it got strolled was it lacks the magic ingredient torque. At 515 hp the subi 4 banger cant make as much torque. And all wheel drive is a liability unless you are in a mud hole somewhere.
@bassfishing1994 exactly.. STI should be lighter than that stang if anything the stang would get him out of the hole due to positive displacement charger and the sti would pull up top.

@jivepepper You realize anyone can claim anything right? I see no dyno read outs here so as far as my "calibrated" eyes see there's something not right about a 2 hp difference. Especially since the STI is a fairly light car, the mustang should not walk him that hard. In fact the STI should be about a car legnth ahead or more if they're that close in hp. I'm not trying to argue just dosen't seem to make sense.
There's a dyno vid of my car on this channel you see the screen at the end and a my friend saying 665 omg. There's track vids on this channel of me running low 11's at 129 also. All you need to do is just click on my name and look at my other vids. I have seen the subies dyno sheets and his car trap mid 120's. I would have to been making 515 to run those times and mph. It takes X amount of power to move X amount of weight x amount of MPH with in a 1/4. T
@jivepepper I checked some of your other vids out, I usually don't like many mustangs but yours is tight. If you make 665hp shoulden't you be running at least in the 10s?
All vids are at 515whp not 665. But honestly trapping high 120's at 515 whp I should have already seen 10's. Trap is the indicator of power more than et or time. I have only made 1 run at 665 and that was a 11.01 at 135. Plus I'm not running slicks or skinnies and after doing a good bit of suspension mods I have ruined my weight transfer off the line. Plus I just blew my stock tranny. I putting another stock one until next spring.
@TheOmegaeyes your right about the power issue except racing from a roll like that the STI has the disadvantage because its transferring the hp to all 4 wheels rather than the mustang who only has to send the hp to the rear tires, STI loses power because it has to send it to all 4 tires
@TheOmegaeyes their drive trains make a difference. one is AWD one is RWD. not only that but the mustange produces a lot more torque and is probably super charged. There are so many factors that could differ a 2hp race and make one car look way faster. Their shifting could be another one, the gear ratios in the cars, what speed they started at, the amount of drivetrain loss per car unless they were referring to WHP in the first place. Shouldnt judge a car by its horsepower, any racer knows this.

I belive it. The guy in the Sti looks like he just punched it. If he would have brake boosted it would have been a race. Rotated gt-35s don't spool up fast like a whiple does.
Exactly! My friend has a 550whp awd EVO. He brake boosts all the time when we race. Even though I make a 100+ more HP I find it hard to get in front by a car or two. You can see his rotors getting red. I have a Vortech centrifuge SC on the Mustang and they lag almost as bad as a big Turbo and you cant brake boost it.. But my cay has enough NA TQ that is helps some with acceleration even when I'm out of the boost curve. Finally some one who knows.

these are totally stock cars the acceleration,thump, and the speed you would see from a real 500 whp car isnt there. This looked like both these cars would have ran like 13 sec runs on the track lol

@Black2001SS 11.50@ 117mph just tells me your hooking up well and shifting well. Your et isn't your main indicator of power your trap speed is. I was averaging 11.2-11.3 on street tires but my trap was 128-129mph when I was 515rwhp with best trap of 130. With slicks skinnys, my suspension tweaked, and a better driver a car trapping 128-130 is capable of mid 10's. A car trapping 128-129 will crush a car at 117mpg from a 40 mph roll. I make 665 now made 1 run and blew a belt. it went 11.01 @134.

My car occasionally goes to the track and runs a 11.01 @ 134 on street tires driven by a 44 year old man with severe arthritus. 2/100ths of a sec from a 10. Busting a sc belt right after 4th. A good driver it would running well into the 10s. A proper auto setup makes anyone a good driver also. Big difference 11.50 vs 11.01. Nice name calling for the personal touch.

It trapped 128 to130 at the time of the vid in the 1/4. Was I hooking up and driving it well no, but thats not the point. If the car was set up for drag racing and driven corectly it had the power for tens then and low tens now. I have ran it once since my last tune 11.0 @ 135 on 17" street radials.
Fail. 515 between the two of them is much more accurate (also false however) than 500+ for each. FYI, gauges don't make u go faster. Is this an auto? Lamesauce. Maybe this was from a roll in 6th?

The Mustang is owned by me and this is my channel. There's several mid to low 11 second 1/4 runs trapping 128-131 mph using street tires on this same channel. That's when I was only making 515whp as in this vid.. How do you explain that? Basic physics show that it takes around 500 whp to trap 130 in the 1/4 with a car and driver weighing over 3600lbs.
@OHFORSTANG Thank you for stating the obvious. All the track vids are when it was making 515. My average et then was 11.4x with an average trap of 128-129 on 17" DR's. I have been to the track one time since the 665 tune. I did an easy shake down run first and @ 11.2 @ 132. The next run I went harder but lost a fuel pump right at the end and I let out. It leaned out so bad it blew #8 spark plug out. It ran a 11.01 @ 134 on that run. I haven't been back but it should have power for 10's. Soon!
@jivepepper Git'r'done! I'm on my quest for 11's still, I recently upgraded intercoolers to a 4" and used your "cut up the bumper support" design. Very nice indeed.
In the vids I was using a 3" IC and the went to a 4" I also had to weld the support some because I cut a little far and took some of the factory spot welds off. There's even a big differnce between high 11's and low 11's. Took more power to do that than high 13's to mid 12's some people just don't get it.

@bluesti87 There's proof!! Drag racing and dyno vid now shows 665 because it's a newervid. Also 2 vids of my mustang racing a cammed C5 Z06 with heads and intake putting down 450+ and a 03 Mustang Cobra with ported SC, smaller pulley and tune.
A stock 2K Mustang gt runs high 13's to low 14's trapping 98-100mph. Most of the drag racing clips were done when my mustang was @515whp with a couple @453 whp. The are all in the low to upper 11's on street tires trapping between 127-129. Physics!
@silntinsnty My car was running low 11 second 1/4's and was trapping high 120's with an occasionally 130.xx on 17" drag radials. It weighs 3575 with me in it. The car was trapping where it should have been when considering the weight and power @515whp. I have track vids on this channel along with my current dyno vid of 665 WHP. I seen the other guys dyno sheet and it ran mid to high 11's in the mid 120's. How could anyone tell how much hp a car has without some kind of reference point to go by?
@jivepepper i agree with the person whos calling this bullshit if any of these cars have 500 hp at the accelleration would be twice as fast and they are right the shifting would half to be three times as fast that evo or whatever accells like a 300 hp car and the mustang at about 330
There's a updated dyno vid of the mustang putting down 665 to the wheel. It made 515 in this vid and in the track vids on this channel. A 3500lb car needs at least 500 to the wheel to trap in the 120's in the 1/4. It's physics no way to fake that . If you search for 1/4 calculators there's several that show what a 3500 lb with 500+ whp will trap in the 1/4.
If you'd watch the dyno vid on this channel you can clearly see the supercharger and there's isn't any stock 2000 mustang GT running low 11's with trap speeds between 127-130mph. I have several track vids on here. They're old because the car is at 665whp now and so far on street tires ran a 11.01 @ 134.. There's a channel on here were my friends subie is running a C5 ZO6 Corvette making 455 and they run about even on his street tune of 431. The channel is evobluebyyou. Peace!
Maybe you should look at the other vids on the channel and see the same car at the track and dyno. The Mustang makes 665 now. THE TRACK VIDS ARE FROM WHEN IT ONLY 515. So it was only trapping high 120's in the 1/4 lol. I guess your dyno eye meter it off . You might want have that recalibrated? Maybe it's because there's nothing in the back ground to judge from?
@jivepepper they dont sound or look like 500whp cars. i have a 680WHP evo on E85. I have some vids on here of my car at only 31psi and its way different sounding then this in-car of STI.
I know what my car has and had plus I back it up with track times and traps. Traps can be used to determine hp/weight ratio. It traps mid 130's now in the summer heat. They subie was trapping mid 120's. The mustang has a centrifuge Sc so averages 12psi and peaks @ 20 psi because the boost builds up to redline and is not linear..But that still allows for 93 octane and no meth injection.
If the STI was only trapping in the mid 120's there is something wrong. I trap 136 with 545BHP. This is a BS video. I don't care if you THINK the car has over 500WHP. For one you will not get even close to 500WHP from a STI without a turbo upgrade. And you can clearly tell that this has no upgraded turbo.
If your car is any where stock weight there's no way if could trap 136 in the 1/4. It's physics!!! Why wouldn't you up load a vid of your track? Hmmmmmm go figure? The motor on thesti was rebuilt and sported a GT35r turbo upgrade. Now my friend owns a Buschar built EVO 8 now that's fast rally saloon car. As soon as said you ran a 136 in the 1/4 with only 545bhp which is only 445 to the wheel I knew your just trowing crap out there to try and prove a point.

BHP stands for breaking horse power. Which means what it would be at the crank not the wheel using an engine break to measure resistance. By that they can how power it took to over come the resistance. WHP which stands for HP measured at the wheel and the resistance is applied there and caculated. A wrx at full weight will not trap 130+ if the hp is only 545 at the crank. There's lots of calc's and formulas for figuring this out, just search. I'm 43 and love the Forza series
For one I don't have a WRX.... it's a STI. Number two my STI has been stripped out and has 545BHP and it DOES run 136 in the 1/4! I will prove this to you next time I go to the track!
Wow u must have removed all the interior. Even the heating and ac under the hood and dash. A tubular frame under the front? After all that it would be hard to do 136 in the 1/4 with 545bhp. That would only be 439whp. Do u still have a dash? In ur vids you do. Plus it would have to be a cold day at track close to sea level. The STI is WRX just it's sportest model of a WRX. SRT4 is still a Neon, A Cobra is still a Mustang and an EVO is still a Lancer. Did u read about bhp vs whp?
@scoobyfan2009 Nice big difference my buddy had a 500+whp wrx and thats what a it looked and sounded like in the cabin. The STI in this vid looks and sounds stock. The only thing I can say is he was going from a higher gear than you were in your vid, from what I can tell.

Im willing to bet the wheel hp measures are off as the subie was probabally on a dyno jet and the mustang on a mustang dyno... the mustang dyno usually shows about 15% less horsepower than the dynojet. I could be wrong but that could account for the trumping the subie got if it has legit numbers.
there is no way in hell that Subie has 515wHp... My 05 WRX is pushing 241wHp and 246Tq and if thats all you have I would plaster you lol. Im pretty sure that v8 guys run their mouth first, and here is something to think about go dollar for dollar with a 4 cyl and a v8 and see which one you can make faster for less include the price of the car as well

@oscars302 Agreed. I get tired of 4 banger fan boys saying V8's suck and are slow compared to 4 cyl imports. They usualy leave out the part where they pour money into their little 4 cylinders to even keep up with a real V8 (stock).
@2000VR if you want a scary fast 4 banger... buy a bike! $12K for a brand new bike that does mid-high 9's. I gotta give it up to cars that keep up with bikes... that's impressive. And these cars weren't even about 300rwhp. They seemed like stockers to me. I've raced a few 450-550rwhp cobras and they are much much quicker than these cars appeared!!
@MylesWalker And to me the thing is that the STi is lighter than the mustang by a few hundred pounds. They hp and tq outputs are pretty much the same so I just don't buy this vid. I want to believe that but also the STi if it was built with a 35R turbo it would have an external wastegate. I didn't hear one AT ALL with this car. And also with the close ratio gear box that the STi has it seemed like he was staying in the same gear for too long. If he had 517whp he would be burning through them!

@m69ortiz. You mean the engine they took out of a PT cruiser slapped a turbo on it and some injectors and called it the SRT-4 engine the decided to make a neon fast. For what I've seen them engines are crap. And it's a Neon.
IMO the engines that are worth talking about in the 4 cyl class is the 4g63 and the EJ257. No I'm not saying those two just caus the STI vs EVO thing. But both are pretty solid 4 cyl engines that can take a beating. The 4g63 more so. I'm sure if the srt was as great as ev
NO way in HELL that STi has 515whp. At those numbers it would run mid 10's at over 130mph. I can tell you that STI is only in the 300's. Otherwise your car is running like absolute HELL.

IDK if it's just me but neither of these cars sound like a 500whp+ car. With as short as the hears are in the STI with 517 whp you would be flying through those gears like a bat out of hell and you were hanging in them for a while. And I hope that STI has a built block because 500whp won't hold up long at all with those power levels.

@rextuner03 theres plenty of daily driven 450-500WHEEL horse power stis running around and that was not one of them. the stang runs away from him. my lonely 11.7@123 sti makes just shy of 400 at the wheels.

I'm into the street racing world for 6 years, and i've seen many subarus like this. I've seen one running on 11's here in Portugal with no special tarmac. So i know what i'm talking about.
Not a centrifuge SC. I average a lot less than his Turbo. He actually gets the jump on me because of this and you can also brake boost a turbo but not a SC.
@jivepepper ....Since when could you NOT brake boost a SC? I drive my buddies Slowbalt SS s/c on 14lbs and I brake boost it no problem. Also my dad has supercharged Dodge Ram 1500 on 6lbs and I also can brake boost it. But I don't dog daddys truck, thats what friends cars are for. Personally I'm just in a mood lately to say timing+compression>air+fuel anyways. Im loving having a 11.5 N/a civic.
Sure you can brake boost with a S/C... but what is the point. You get full boost whether you brake boost or not. Only need to brake boost in a Turbo. Only for the reason of turbo lag. There is no lag in a S/C.
@vr6hondaeatervr6 you forgot to mention how superchargers take away a good amount of power from your engine to operate themselves (use power to make power), while turbochargers use only exhaust gas from the engine to spin the turbine, which then makes boost. and if you wanna talk about tubo lag, they eliminated that completely with "aerochargers" which are turbochargers with variable-area turbine nozzles... if you asked me, id go with turbochargers over superchargers any day of the week

Yes subaru's are not good in a roll. I own a mustang. two of my friends owned mustangs sold them and bought wrx's Their cars are not good from a launch and they admit it because there is not enough torque to go with the car, and subaru's are heavy. They also seem to be having a lot of engine trouble with their wrx's. Plus they are spending hundreds of dollars to gain so little horsepower in those 4 cylinders. yes people need to know their cars and research them first before they talk.

Everything you said is true expect for the last part and launches. Subarus will always make more power with basic bolt-ons over na motors. A simple tune + turbo-back exhaust normally nets over 70+ awhp. That's over a 100+ crank hp with simple bolt-ons. No mustang will ever net such gains with those mods. These cars are AWD, they are great for launching and have no traction issues at all. Low-end torque sucks, but once the turbo spools it makes the torque of a V8 engine.

@jakubgt1 I've seen a stock 03 Mustang Cobra make an extra 100 with a SC & crank pulley change. I have seen a 2011 NA 5.0 Mustang GT make an extra 60 from an exhaust & cold air intake & retune. My SC'ed GT made 86 more hp from cams at only 11 psi. It was 429 n 515 after, no increase in PSI like a turbo back would give a turboed car. The 11 psi was peak because centrifuge SC's build until redline the average psi is less. Now I make 665 @ 20 psi peak on 93 oct pump gas . V8's like boost 2.

Do your research the sti is a pig 3400 lbs just as heavy as the sn95 mustang. Why it got strolled was it lacks the magic ingredient torque. At 515 hp the subi 4 banger cant make as much torque. And all wheel drive is a liability unless you are in a mud hole somewhere.

@jivepepper You realize anyone can claim anything right? I see no dyno read outs here so as far as my "calibrated" eyes see there's something not right about a 2 hp difference. Especially since the STI is a fairly light car, the mustang should not walk him that hard. In fact the STI should be about a car legnth ahead or more if they're that close in hp. I'm not trying to argue just dosen't seem to make sense.

All vids are at 515whp not 665. But honestly trapping high 120's at 515 whp I should have already seen 10's. Trap is the indicator of power more than et or time. I have only made 1 run at 665 and that was a 11.01 at 135. Plus I'm not running slicks or skinnies and after doing a good bit of suspension mods I have ruined my weight transfer off the line. Plus I just blew my stock tranny. I putting another stock one until next spring.

@TheOmegaeyes their drive trains make a difference. one is AWD one is RWD. not only that but the mustange produces a lot more torque and is probably super charged. There are so many factors that could differ a 2hp race and make one car look way faster. Their shifting could be another one, the gear ratios in the cars, what speed they started at, the amount of drivetrain loss per car unless they were referring to WHP in the first place. Shouldnt judge a car by its horsepower, any racer knows this.

Exactly! My friend has a 550whp awd EVO. He brake boosts all the time when we race. Even though I make a 100+ more HP I find it hard to get in front by a car or two. You can see his rotors getting red. I have a Vortech centrifuge SC on the Mustang and they lag almost as bad as a big Turbo and you cant brake boost it.. But my cay has enough NA TQ that is helps some with acceleration even when I'm out of the boost curve. Finally some one who knows.

I was averaging 11.2-11.3 on street tires but my trap was 128-129mph when I was 515rwhp with best trap of 130. With slicks skinnys, my suspension tweaked, and a better driver a car trapping 128-130 is capable of mid 10's. A car trapping 128-129 will crush a car at 117mpg from a 40 mph roll. I make 665 now made 1 run and blew a belt. it went 11.01 @134.

My car occasionally goes to the track and runs a 11.01 @ 134 on street tires driven by a 44 year old man with severe arthritus. 2/100ths of a sec from a 10. Busting a sc belt right after 4th. @OHFORSTANG Thank you for stating the obvious. All the track vids are when it was making 515. My average et then was 11.4x with an average trap of 128-129 on 17" DR's. I have been to the track one time since the 665 tune. I did an easy shake down run first and @ 11.2 @ 132. The next run I went harder but lost a fuel pump right at the end and I let out. It leaned out so bad it blew #8 spark plug out. It ran a 11.01 @ 134 on that run. I haven't been back but it should have power for 10's. Soon!

In the vids I was using a 3" IC and the went to a 4" I also had to weld the support some because I cut a little far and took some of the factory spot welds off. There's even a big differnce between high 11's and low 11's. Took more power to do that than high 13's to mid 12's some people just don't get it.

A stock 2K Mustang gt runs high 13's to low 14's trapping 98-100mph. Most of the drag racing clips were done when my mustang was @515whp with a couple @453 whp. The are all in the low to upper 11's on street tires trapping between 127-129. Physics!

The car was trapping where it should have been when considering the weight and power @515whp. I have track vids on this channel along with my current dyno vid of 665 WHP. I seen the other guys dyno sheet and it ran mid to high 11's in the mid 120's. How could anyone tell how much hp a car has without some kind of reference point to go by?

There's a updated dyno vid of the mustang putting down 665 to the wheel. It made 515 in this vid and in the track vids on this channel. A 3500lb car needs at least 500 to the wheel to trap in the 120's in the 1/4. It's physics no way to fake that . If you search for 1/4 calculators there's several that show what a 3500 lb with 500+ whp will trap in the 1/4.

If you'd watch the dyno vid on this channel you can clearly see the supercharger and there's isn't any stock 2000 mustang GT running low 11's with trap speeds between 127-130mph. I have several track vids on here. They're old because the car is at 665whp now and so far on street tires ran a 11.01 @ 134.. I know what my car has and had plus I back it up with track times and traps. Traps can be used to determine hp/weight ratio. It traps mid 130's now in the summer heat. They subie was trapping mid 120's. The mustang has a centrifuge Sc so averages 12psi and peaks @ 20 psi because the boost builds up to redline and is not linear..But that still allows for 93 octane and no meth injection.

If the STI was only trapping in the mid 120's there is something wrong. I trap 136 with 545BHP. This is a BS video. I don't care if you THINK the car has over 500WHP. For one you will not get even close to 500WHP from a STI without a turbo upgrade. And you can clearly tell that this has no upgraded turbo.

BHP stands for breaking horse power. Which means what it would be at the crank not the wheel using an engine break to measure resistance. By that they can how power it took to over come the resistance. WHP which stands for HP measured at the wheel and the resistance is applied there and caculated. A wrx at full weight will not trap 130+ if the hp is only 545 at the crank. There's lots of calc's and formulas for figuring this out, just search. I'm 43 and love the Forza series

That would only be 439whp. Do u still have a dash? In ur vids you do. Plus it would have to be a cold day at track close to sea level. The STI is WRX just it's sportest model of a WRX. Im willing to bet the wheel hp measures are off as the subie was probabally on a dyno jet and the mustang on a mustang dyno... the mustang dyno usually shows about 15% less horsepower than the dynojet. I could be wrong but that could account for the trumping the subie got if it has legit numbers.

@oscars302 Agreed. I get tired of 4 banger fan boys saying V8's suck and are slow compared to 4 cyl imports. They usualy leave out the part where they pour money into their little 4 cylinders to even keep up with a real V8 (stock).

@2000VR if you want a scary fast 4 banger... buy a bike! $12K for a brand new bike that does mid-high 9's. I gotta give it up to cars that keep up with bikes... that's impressive. And these cars weren't even about 300rwhp. They seemed like stockers to me. I've raced a few 450-550rwhp cobras and they are much much quicker than these cars appeared!!

@MylesWalker And to me the thing is that the STi is lighter than the mustang by a few hundred pounds. They hp and tq outputs are pretty much the same so I just don't buy this vid. I want to believe that but also the STi if it was built with a 35R turbo it would have an external wastegate. I didn't hear one AT ALL with this car. And also with the close ratio gear box that the STi has it seemed like he was staying in the same gear for too long. If he had 517whp he would be burning through them!

@m69ortiz. You mean the engine they took out of a PT cruiser slapped a turbo on it and some injectors and called it the SRT-4 engine the decided to make a neon fast. For what I've seen them engines are crap. And it's a Neon.
IMO the engines that are worth talking about in the 4 cyl class is the 4g63 and the EJ257. No I'm not saying those two just caus the STI vs EVO thing. But both are pretty solid 4 cyl engines that can take a beating. The 4g63 more so. I'm sure if the srt was as great as ev

NO way in HELL that STi has 515whp. At those numbers it would run mid 10's at over 130mph. I can tell you that STI is only in the 300's. Otherwise your car is running like absolute HELL.

IDK if it's just me but neither of these cars sound like a 500whp+ car. With as short as the hears are in the STI with 517 whp you would be flying through those gears like a bat out of hell and you were hanging in them for a while. And I hope that STI has a built block because 500whp won't hold up long at all with those power levels.

My best friend has a sti fully built with a 35r on it and she did 545whp on C16 at 25psi.
So there is no way. If he is then someone did a horribly shitty job tuning it.

Not a centrifuge SC. I average a lot less than his Turbo. He actually gets the jump on me because of this and you can also brake boost a turbo but not a SC.

@jivepepper ....Since when could you NOT brake boost a SC? I drive my buddies Slowbalt SS s/c on 14lbs and I brake boost it no problem. Also my dad has supercharged Dodge Ram 1500 on 6lbs and I also can brake boost it. But I don't dog daddys truck, thats what friends cars are for. Personally I'm just in a mood lately to say timing+compression>air+fuel anyways. Im loving having a 11.5 N/a civic.

Sure you can brake boost with a S/C... but what is the point. You get full boost whether you brake boost or not. Only need to brake boost in a Turbo. Only for the reason of turbo lag. There is no lag in a S/C.

@vr6hondaeatervr6 you forgot to mention how superchargers take away a good amount of power from your engine to operate themselves (use power to make power), while turbochargers use only exhaust gas from the engine to spin the turbine, which then makes boost. and if you wanna talk about tubo lag, they eliminated that completely with "aerochargers" which are turbochargers with variable-area turbine nozzles... if you asked me, id go with turbochargers over superchargers any day of the week
