i think this is soo not worth all the controversy! Yeah so he kissed a guy who ares he is gay thats what they do. Who cares if he shoved a guy in his crotch? he did the same to a girl too i mean this is blown wayyyy out of proprtion!
I applaud Adam on his performance and people who have a problem are being ignorant to past performances. Award shows have been delivering sexualized performances for years & Adam clearly referred to this in an interview - the Britney/Madonna/Christina kiss was a surprise, but its the EXACT same thing other than Adam being male. Open your eyes, get with the times and accept the fact that society is changing. Not everybody has to be the SAME, otherwise the world would be boring.
People who had a problem with madonna and britney are the ones that have a problem with this. This is disgusting and wrong on so many levels. People like him should not be allowed to perform anywhere. This is why the world is in such a place that its in now. People need to quit supporting things like this and pick up their bible and grow up.

I have nothing against his performance at all.... if it's okay for women to parade around like that, why is not okay for men to do the same?? It's a homophobic double standard, and it's sad. He's an ARTIST, and an UNBELIEVABLY talented musician!!! That being said..... TOTALLY lame song.... I was expecting SO much more.... like classic rock style with a twist -- not crappy teeny-bopper pop music. I hope the rest of his album is better than that.
it isn't a homophobic double standard. i've got gay friends who didnt even like his performance. the kiss with his keyboardist is nothing. but the singing was poor and rubbing his crotch all over that womans face was painful to watch.
It was shown after the watershed, the AMAs knew what Adam would do, if anyone needs to be blamed it's the AMA officials. Personally I think that if Madonna did the same thing it'd be 'artistic', but 'cause Adam's a guy people are getting upset. Double standards! Also, for all the complainers, that thing you have beside you on the couch with the buttons is called a remote control, use it or shut-up!
AMA knew that his performance will be sexual not meant for children. That is why he was the last one to perform after 10:00pm where they cannot get fines. I thought it was hilarious and simply different. Parents should not blame this one to Adam.
They were meant for adults. The problem is viewers at home, some have sense of humor and the rest just want to be plain conservative and righteous (close minded).
