  • Yeah...Next thing you know, your pc's full of files full of infected malware from other ppl's pc's.It happened to me & it can happen to you..& a certain co. told me it was impossible till they saw it & restored my pc to factory settings.lol EF dis Sh*t!!! Keep your pc's personal! I totally agree with raulserban27. v Run from file shareing...Dont walk!! Where's the video as titled???

  • I got a server computer and i plugged it in to a moniter and it did not show up. I did b4 and it worked and now it dosen

  • eHow, This video rocks.

  • what you didnt show is how to get your computers ip? is it the ethernet ip you get from ip configall?

  • Very well explained! Will try it once I get my laptop back. Thank you

  • do you have to use windows server to do that or can you use a server with xp?

  • doesnt have t\o be server os. but i dont know about home edition.

  • @rockoutization You can use server with xp.

I have a little home network, because my laptop is networked with the family pc.

and my sisters laptop and my bro's pc and my pc.

  • You don't have to put in the ip address. If they're connect to the same router, just type in Network and it's right there.

  • this is way easier than setting up an ftp server thanks. ill give you a 20/5

  • thanks

  • pretty nice how do I add internet to my Ipod touch

  • cool it works like a charm !!!!

  • you should map the network drive to make it easily accesible

  • Wo I should try that out! Will that work with windows XP too or just vista?

  • Pretty Much every type of computer but you have to do it differently in each kind of computer.

  • To find the shared folders on the network though it is easier just to goto Network places - rather than try and put the computer's ip in. I tried that on windows xp (he used vista) and it doesn't work.
