My theory of how Power Tool Dragon might be fith dragon. The fith dragon is a dragon which mainly uses weapons. As time passed new advancements in weapony the fith bacame more mordanize into the form of Power Tool Dragon. Or is just a robotic repilca of the fith dragon made because of unknown reasons like the orignal died or no longer serves the crimson dragon.

Crow doesnt even have a dragon ion his deck. Just look at power tool dragon and the fifth dragon. Compare them side by side, powertool dragon is a futuristic version of the fifth dragon, Rua IS the fifth signer.
It could be like ancient fairy dragon and someone else has it, but come on, its been hinted that ancient fairy dragon exits since like ep 1. Besides, Luna's vision show what the fitfh dragon is if you look at the screenshot, no way that looks like anything going into a blackwing deck anytime soon

heres my theory. i think that power tool dragon IS a 5d, it's just that his ancient powers as a 5d might have faded away when his card became owned by someone who is not a signer (leo) or he could just be using the metal armor to hide his true self. anyway my theory is sometime in the show, crow and leo will eventually be forced to tag duel and in that duel leo will summon power tool and with crow's power as a signer, power tool's 'seal' will be broken revealing the fifth and final dragon

Speak for yourself. I'd like that a lot better then Rex attaching a severed arm to his own, that was never his, that he could have attached at ANY point within those 17 years.

Lets not continue this argument. Rudger was in line to be the 5th, but he chose the darker path of the dark signers. The role of 5th could be given to anyone in the comming future.
But signer or not, Rua's deck (I can't say Rua because his sister stepped in to continue when he got worn out) was the first deck to defeat a dark signer and their earthbound god. So that makes Rua a real winner in my book. :D

its my prediction that godwin will be the fifth signer and he will use the core chimair (Koa'ki Meiru) deck. If you dont know about the core chimair cards, a few are being released in the pack Raging Battle so check it out on yugioh wikia. IMO the deck just seems to fit his personality. Plus alot of cards have effects around countering or stopping dark monsters. So it would be a perfect deck for the last signer to use.

Rua - I think he isn't the fifth. About his so-called powers, I belive they are not his. This might sound strange but sometimes, twins have mental connections. Being so, I belive he unintentionaly is using his bond with Ruka to tap into her sign powrs and that is why power tool dragon looks so real.This can bee seen as when she is hipnotised he also seemed to be in some sort of a trance.
PS:I'm also a Rua fan I'd love to seem him as the fifth

the official name for the unknown dragon is "Black-Feather Dragon" or in the eng dub "Blackwing Dragon". crow is most likely going to hav it as his dragon seeing how he is the 5th signer and he is the only anime character tht runs a Blackwing/Black-Feather deck...

Crow may be the 5th Signer, but Rua is the one destined to have the 5th Dragon.
Maybe the second season will explain the creation of the FIve Dragon cards themselves.

dudes, its all too obvious that Rua is the REAL fifth signer and not Crow.
Crow doesnt even have a dragon ion his deck. Just look at power tool dragon and the fifth dragon. Compare them side by side, powertool dragon is a futuristic version of the fifth dragon, Rua IS the fifth signer.

It could be like ancient fairy dragon and someone else has it, but come on, its been hinted that ancient fairy dragon exits since like ep 1. Besides, Luna's vision show what the fitfh dragon is if you look at the screenshot, no way that looks like anything going into a blackwing deck anytime soon

my theory is that leo is the 5th signer, i mean crow is a good posability but look what if lunas dragon is the sister of the orange dragon and when they took lunas dragon the orange dragon attempted to go save its sister and when it got to it the orange dragon was killed and then rebuilt by someone good because without the orange dragon then the crimson dragon could not save the world or somthing like that

heres my theory. i think that power tool dragon IS a 5d, it's just that his ancient powers as a 5d might have faded away when his card became owned by someone who is not a signer (leo) or he could just be using the metal armor to hide his true self. anyway my theory is sometime in the show, crow and leo will eventually be forced to tag duel and in that duel leo will summon power tool and with crow's power as a signer, power tool's 'seal' will be broken revealing the fifth and final dragon

i have proof that power tool could be the fifth dragon. watch the 5d's japanese second closing video. at the very start it shows the four dragon cards along wih power tool dragon which heavily suggests that ptd IS the fifth dragon!!!

I think it would have been more cienmatic and awesomey if rua was the fifth signer like he was dueling cause he was angry or sumut and then his signer powers awakened and power toolds seal was broken and he burst out as what i like to call Power Seal Dragon(the fifth one for you brickheads joking) and then he won. ya Crow is the 5th Signer but that Black Winged Card we see in the Openings and Endings seems to be his Signer card also why did the creator even make a Power Tool Dragon that resembles the 5th dragon so much and why would he even work on Rua in the story also he was able to stand his ground in that Dark Signer Duel so if you think about it i think the creator is going to add a Secret/6th Signer which would be Rua like there still showing his Power Tool Dragon in the new Ending of Yugioh 5ds

for all the ppl who said godwin i believe we've seen in the preview of 62 that he is a dark signer so.....we have 3 options:
1st. he dies and the mark passes on to Rua
2nd. he dies and the mark passes on to Crow(since he is with yusei and jack)
3rd. he's defeated and he goes to normal and gets the head mark(which is unlikely since is a yami duel so you some1 has to die)

Speak for yourself. I'd like that a lot better then Rex attaching a severed arm to his own, that was never his, that he could have attached at ANY point within those 17 years.
If it's Rex, I would think THAT'S a horrible ands tupid decession on the writer's part. I mean, is it so unlikely the Birthmar passes ont o Rua if he's a likely candiaate for the 5th Signer?

Lets not continue this argument. Rudger was in line to be the 5th, but he chose the darker path of the dark signers. The role of 5th could be given to anyone in the comming future.
But signer or not, Rua's deck (I can't say Rua because his sister stepped in to continue when he got worn out) was the first deck to defeat a dark signer and their earthbound god. So that makes Rua a real winner in my book. :D

I think that power tool dragon was made to symbolise the fith dragon
or maybe (like you said ) being the rebuild version
but I cant help but notice that when leo (rua) loses against divine power tool looks at him like he felt that he failed to protect him (holograms don't turn around to the user, only duel spirit do that)
or maybe power tool was made to protect ancient rfairy just likerua always protects ruka (as power tool caught the damage from the monkey signers attacks)

I mean he's played a large amounts of duels in the series to just have to sit in the backround. His life has already been in danger so my bet is Ruka will be in mortal danger (real danger) and Power Tool Dragon will transform into Gladiator Dragon via some kind of equip spell or something, and save her.

My bet is that its either the man who built the daedulus bridge (Goodwin saud he was awakened long ago and would appear back again only when the signers were in trouble), Or Rua/Leo! In ancient mayan/incan legend. It was two hero twins who saved the world from darkness, and Leo/Rua and Luka/Luna are twins! And Rex just said "The power I posess as the fifth signer" He didn't say he was the signer. Dark signers can transfer their powers, soo, couldn't the fifth signer have done that to Goodwin?

its my prediction that godwin will be the fifth signer and he will use the core chimair (Koa'ki Meiru) deck. If you dont know about the core chimair cards, a few are being released in the pack Raging Battle so check it out on yugioh wikia. IMO the deck just seems to fit his personality. Plus alot of cards have effects around countering or stopping dark monsters. So it would be a perfect deck for the last signer to use.

no it cant be rua nor professor fudo as the arm is too ig for rua and if he was a signer then someting would of happend in episdes 47-50 and we've seen a severed arm which is way to white to be yuseis dad most likely rex godwin though.

Sorry not to agree with you but I think as follows:
Rua - I think he isn't the fifth. About his so-called powers, I belive they are not his. This might sound strange but sometimes, twins have mental connections. Being so, I belive he unintentionaly is using his bond with Ruka to tap into her sign powrs and that is why power tool dragon looks so real.This can bee seen as when she is hipnotised he also seemed to be in some sort of a trance.
PS:I'm also a Rua fan I'd love to seem him as the fifth

Ugh. Y'know, I'm sick of people automatically assuming Rex is the 5th Signer becase his brother Rudger is a Dark Signer. Wouldnt that be what the writesd want you to think? It is Rua. You can run from the truth, but not hide from it. There' s the whole Power Tool Dragon/5th Dragon thing AND the fact Rua was there both times the Crimson Dragon fully appeared AAND it is hinted he is related to the Signers since his mind was also sent into the Spirit World and had a vision of Ruka's Birthmark.
