  • Stay awake my 1st peeepl of Turtle Island, the colonial virus iz well spread throughout the world. We can never giv in to their greedy blind habits of eating the whole world with their weak gluttonous behaviorz

  • When it's all said in done white man doesnt care about anybody but makin money. Money didnt allways exist it became power for european americans. Mother earth will fight these savages in due time

  • @ojidanowe Thank you Cherie! There was this thing about listening to your elders.

We don't cater to a specific age group, gender or tribe. If you don't understand what is being said, ask questions. If you don't want to hear the truth because you don't like the way the story is being told...

    I guess change the channel.

I try to respect everyone's opinion and let them say what they have to say... within reason.

I know we won't please everyone.

Thanks again for understanding what we do.

  • awesome

  • This is a great show. Liked it alot. Very informatve!

  • Me gustaría que algún hermano o hermana pudiera traducirme esto porque es poco lo que entiendo del inglés, les agradecería. Saludos desde Tho' Yuk at'aan

  • This video..kinda cracks me up 'cause it looks exactly like those Christian talk show thingies LMAO! We should really do it differently than those Christians. Like... ummm.. let's copy the way ASIAN religions do it ;)

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic

I'm open to suggestion! Never watched any Asian religious talk shows.

We have people come on that are knowledgable on certain topics that might concern the Native community. We don't try to copy anybody. Our shows just turn out the way the guest takes it. We don't change the words. I do edit to meet the time limit allowed but the content remains the same. I think Cihuapilli does a great job of keeping the guests on track. Not an easy thing to do. Thanks for the comment!

  • @hotstuffjetcars, Asian talks like Buddhism discusses more about philosophy than religion. it a lot of ways is a bit more logical. Like..instead of saying "we should respect the graves of our ancestors" they say shit like "we should respect the ways of the living because it is what our ancestors wanted" or something like that. I just found this video funny 'cause I have watched Christian talks you guys remind me of them. I do NOT KNOW why i think that.

  • @hotstuffjetcars, my BEST suggestion is to try to reach out to the younger audience which you guys seem to fail. The older people already embrace their heritage but the younger ones are forgetting their ways. I personally would use native American pop-culture music and make the videos around Native American sites like Aztec pyramids, Cahokia mounds, Wounded Knee, things like that. maybe include native groups outside the USA and Canada and even include Australian Aborigine and AINU.

  • @hotstuffjetcars, I still want it to be native American thought but if we include the Ainu and Australian Aborigines or even the Scottish, we will have a MUCH better understanding of Spirituality and the issues that involve indigenous people around the world not just Native Americans. I also wish Native American would do more about these fake tribes like the Washitaw moors who try to dilute people into their ideology.

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic These are all great comments and duly noted! As far as footage goes I just use what we've been given on the show. We try to make the show as diverse as possible and work with the guests we are able to get. I would love to have all the people from the different tribes and from different parts of the world appear on our show. If you can help set me up with some of the people you suggest I will definitely put them on!

    Thanks for the great comments!

    Steve

We must consider that not all tribes were recognized by the U.S. of A...

Aboriginal Indigenous people----we must all wake up and realize that miseducation has been the norm so that the majority of the people would not see history but only how the colonizers have taught. The Washitaw Moors have just as much right to claim nationality as any other tribes on earth..

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic

We must consider that not all tribes were recognized by the U.S. of A...

In fact the very rights that are spoken of in this clip are the very rights that are being refered about. People who look like the Washitaw Moors were being unrecognized and counted as Negro, Black , and Colored....to still Birthright.....just like the word "Indian" was used interchangably with Negro back in time. .

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic

We were further divided by using other labels like Hispanic,Latino, etc. When the Colonizers came in it was common practice to divide and label people so that they would come to disassociate with their common-ness. So you see people....time is up for thinking this way (that someone is not aboriginal-Indigenous because they don't look like what the colonizers taught. We must see what is the same-ness that we have...and build on that.

  • How sad...I look depressed huh? With good reason!

  • My indigenous ancestors are buried under a local Catholic church's school & parking lot, at one site. All buried there were Catholic & the Church put them there. At another site, in town, my ancestors are buried under a park, which is used, de facto, as a dog park. The same city gov't which made that cemetery to replace the filed-up Catholic one, later turned it into a park. Some of the remains were removed, but many are still there, & so are their grave stones. Wish local indigenous care more.

  • Good job AGAIN.

  • this is CUACUALTZIN,....you do much good gettin' all indigenous tribes together to protect our heritage,....thumbs up to ya hotstuffjetcars and tlaskamati to my pal Lilah for the AWESOME share! = )

  • @qualqui, cuacualtzin means beautiful

  • thanks for sharing this Steve~ peace and love good brother

  • Good Job Steve, editing well done !

  • In Northern Turtle Island we have also been trying to Protect our Sacred Sites and Graves. In Canada there are no laws protecting our Historical Graves let a lone our Sacred Sites. Wounded talked about Medicine River. Here in Alberta we have the Medicine Hills which was the last time the Creator came to the Cree people.

I have only been trying to get our sites in the Edmonton area protected. I do have a facebook page called Save our Sacred Sites if you would like to take a gander.
