@bombaybicycleclubxD basically, in the days of vinyl records, a single would have another song on the reverse side of the record so as not to waste money only pressing music onto one side. B sides tend to be non-album tracks, but sometimes they're performed live. even though there is no need for another track in the days of CDs or digital downloads, it is still kind of a tradition that most bands adhere to.
