How long did it take u to learn how to play the piano? In 16 and I want SO BAD to sit down and play that instrument, but the lessons r so expensive :( im planning to work and earn the money for lessons, but I'm not sure how much it costs for a beginner to take lessons. . This is my dream, someday I want to play the piano :(

@TheAngelmj15 sorry, i dont have an answer to that. i teach myself, so first start with basic songs with piano books (recommended) or sheet music. then when you get to the harder songs use sheet music (recommended after you finish level 4-ish) or piano books (i dont recommend this after level 4-ish). the sheet music is online. soon you'll be a great pianist, because this is how i became one :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :):)

@TheAngelmj15 go look up the youtube channel "Lypur". I literally sat and watched over 40-50 videos on his channel and learned piano that way. if you have the will, then it will become reality.. after buying a keyboard, i was able to play songs i like around 6 months or so, and nearly 3 years later, i can play much harder songs that i never thought i'd be able to. go do eetz!

Give it a try! You will learn to play piano by challenging yourself every time you learn a new song :)
