And btw... I agree he sounds like German, this coming from a fellow European. Generally speaking, Germans don't really pronounce English very well. I guess it has a lot to do with all their English TV programmes/movies being dubbed into German :^)

first of all lol u speak fluent english doesnt mean that ur GOOD AT english, so I wouldnt be surprised that u didnt understand what the guy said (plus his accent didnt sound like he was white I guess). Its supposed to be 'was GEM born in HK' lol its past tense.

and GEM english aint so good lol. Her english may sound good in some english songs, but thats only because those english songs were sung by american singers so she most definately just immitated the way the singers sung the songs.
