As for understanding slavery, I don't think we understand what really happened to Black people. Just my take on it. There are many reasons we are as a whole where we are right now. The actual theory may have been just a story. I am not saying if the letter is real or not, but the practices were. My Great Grandmother was born a slave, she could not read, by the time she was 16 she had five biracial children..things that happen to her..extended to her children and so on. Willie lynch aside slavery, and the aftermath helped shape black people today not all but enough.

Personally, I don't feel any type of way about it because my position is the TRUTH. There was no Willie Lynch. Now...what is yours?

My point is this. Did the Gentiles (White People) create a system to enslave Black people? That's all we need to know. That's a yes or no question. If a system was used to enslave Black people then a system was used to maintain the slaves. That seems logical to me.

@MrHolipsism I don't think we need the Lynch letter. The letter simply illustrates how Black people behave today in a general way. As for understanding slavery, I don't think we understand what really happened to Black people. Just my take on it. I think most of us don't even realize that the first Black family didn't exist until after the Emancipation of slaves. Black Males and Females have not even been properly introduced to one another. From breeding farms to marriage seems illogical.

I have a different question to propose. Why is the language so fowl? The problems that are stated in the letter are clearly there. True or false. The devil Is all about division. He is the one responsible from all the confusion between roles in family, color of skin, unity in all commuites etc. He is alway trying to get people to foucs on each other instead of God.

The black people think education is bad myth had been debunked on Cree's show with William Darrity. It was shown that kids didn't have any problem with education they had a problem with the kids in "advanced" classes acting BETTER than the kids who were not in the "advanced" classes with predominantly white people. If any one thinks they can derive what happened to Black people from reading documents, are feeble-minded at best. The sister talking seems to suffer from the syndrome herself. The host clearly tried to explain to her that Farrakhan is the person that brought it to the masses. The syndrome kicked right in and just like many sisters that suffer from it, she insisted that she was correct and that he was incorrect. Somebody tell Master that the syndrome is working well.

...Willie Lynch Syndrome doesn't require Willie Lynch to have been a real person anymore than Christianity requires Christ to have been a real person. Christianity exists, no matter how mythical Jesus is. Likewise, regardless of the Willie Lynch character's origins, Willie Lynch Syndrome is real and kicks a large amount of our asses on a daily basis.

Do you realize you just justified Christianity, Family? I'm for some consistency in the so-called "conscious community." We have roasted Christians over their mythology and then we turn around and create one ourselves and then do the same thing Christians do when they are challenged on their myths with facts; make excuses to keep worshiping. If we are just going to embrace mythology and allegory over facts as a people then lets make it official instead of picking and choosing our own.

I'm saying that Willie Lynch Syndrome exists and does real damage despite Lynch not being a real person in the same way Christianity exists and does real damage despite Christ not being a real person. Willie Lynch isn't worshipped nor is anyone here arguing he's a real person, so I can't see the Christian comparison.

My problem with her critique is 1) she's suggesting that because Willie Lynch himself is an allegory, that the forces and methodology Willie Lynch represents by extension somehow cease to exist. and 2)she comes across as condescending and attacking rather than helpful.

My problem is concentrating on personalities and the messenger instead of the content and the message. I don't really get the sista's beef here, and I just see negativity in the way she's coming. When I read the Willie Lynch letter it was fairly clear to me that Willie Lynch wasn't a real person. He was a literary personification of White oppresion. Just like any other mythology, it's written in a way that those on the lower consciousness will take it literal while those on the higher consciousness will recognize it as an allegory.
