if you break your rail they wont let you buy a replacement. in their words, we dont have any old stock. Fucking really BAKFLIP? what kind of company is this?
As president and CEO of BAK Industries, I can assure you without hesitation, that we will indeed honor any legitimate warranty claim. If you bought your BakFlip NEW, we will gladly replace any defective component at no charge.
If however, you bought a cover USED and want to buy new components to make it whole,
and are trying to do so under warranty, it's different.
@BakIndustries I'm not asking for a warranty, just a simple part I am willing to pay for which according to the company rep I spoke to is an unattainable goal.
@pipersmitty87 since I have a new in box bakflip with no rails (old style) I'll just haul it to the recycle center under my new extang solid fold, and it be dry the whole way.
I have a Ford f-350 long bed and I got one, and it works better than the video. I absolutely love it. On my last truck, I had a full fiberglass snug top, it was so heavy and big, it took 4 men to take it off, if I wanted to use the whole truck bed.
When i go through the car wash, I just wipe out the rails, and I'm good to go. In So Ca we just finished 8 days of solid rain, and I had no problems what-so-ever.

I have an F150 supercrew with a bedliner. It took me 45mins to install and I had to cut the liner in several places.
Fits like a glove! Amazing product!
