  • @Bargoth60... sorry, I was confused...

  • Beanphoner, Thayer David died on July 17th, 1978; Dark Shadows ended on April 2nd, 1971. I know it's 3 years after your posting, but it was seven years after the series ended, not one.

  • fan-freaking-tastic. Tah-rah-rah-boom-bee-aye

  • Dude! this was hilarious!! I loved it!!! Great job!!!

  • i am a fan of count petofi and thought this video was cool!

  • This was very amusing. I loved how you brought your sherry with you everywhere. My friends and I want to do something like this. My mom got a kick out of the video too. She really liked the part with Pansy Faye dancing.

  • oh thanks! haha, had no idea! Another problem with those plots would be the Chris Jenning's actor going completely nuts... Thayer David dying a year after the show went off the air. (RIP) Have you listened to the new audio stories that the old cast members got together and did? pretty lame stories, but at least they're new!

  • @beanphoner Thayer David obviously did not die a year after the show went off the air. He was in "Rocky" which came out in 1976.

  • Count Petofi was my favorite villain on Dark Shadows and in my opinion, Dark Shadows was at its best during the 1897 period when Petofi was doing his evil. In video, the guy playing "Quentin" should've grew some sideburns!

  • haha, point well taken :-p next time i'll let my sideburns grow out. and yeah count petofi's my favorite villain too. too bad we never got to learn more about him and what his true fate was!

  • In my opinion, Petofi ESCAPED from the burning Tate Art Studio! Remember, Barnabas found his eyeglasses OUTSIDE the burned ruins. I only wish, the writers had brought him back into the story-line like they did Nicholas Blair. Petofi was far more diabolical than Blair!

  • According to the "What Would have Happened" segment on the last DVD in the Dark Shadows set... The writers intended on bringing him back in later episodes. But the show was canceled before they could :-/

  • Could you elaborate what their plans were for Petofi? What DVD number was this information on? Was this just a repeat of the article that Sam Hall wrote for TV Guide after DS was cancelled in 1971? What other plots had the writers planned if the show had not been cancelled?

  • It was Dark Shadows Collection 26, Disc 2 Netflix has it. I would post it on youtube, but I don't want the RIAA coming after me. I'll post what happens below

  • Roger Collins dies. Elizabeth gets married. Carolyn becomes a psychic research investigator, becomes like a mother to Amy Jennings, she meets up with Adam, but dumps him. Quintin roams the world looking for a solution his not being able to age without turning into a werewolf and hears Count Petofi might still be around. So he looks for him. Maggie marrys sebastion shaw, then divorces him.

  • Joe becomes sane, then marrys Maggie. Chris Jennings never cured his problem. He killed Sabrina as the wolf, wakes up and commits suicide. Barnabus gets really sick, Julia cures him of his sickness and his vampirism, but she caught it and became sick. She got better, they got married in Singapore.

  • Yes, that's the same info that Sam Hall wrote for TV Guide back in 1971. Some of the ideas I certainly don't like (like Roger dying). The best would be the return of Count Petofi. But I don't think all of these future plots were written in stone, rather how the show "could've" continued. Kathyrn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans) had already quit the show during the summer of 1970.

Oh, Happy Dark Shadows Day! On this date 41 years ago, the greatest series ever produced made its debut!

  • OMG! What a riot, I couldn't stop laughing. Great job.

  • Are you still making these videos? Or was this four years ago? Me and my sister love acting out scenes as well:)

  • haha, that was the only one we ever made that was dark shadows related. we also have a video called Mazillia the Man here on youtube. i wanna start making some more movies though, as i got me a digital video camera now :-)

  • Lol, that was sooooooooo funny! At one point the boy who was Quentin really sounded a lot like the actor who plays him:)By the way Pansy Faye's dress was really cute.

  • haha, thanks. i was the boy who played quentin...

the whole scene where pansy faye is dancing was filmed in a "Bojangles" haha

  • wow, that was great.

    eek the freak
