Don't mean to knock you, but the original did not include mario bros, it includes bonus game based on it, but it isn't the full robust game, it's a match where mario and luigi can fight each other for end of level cards. This game includes an enhanced version of mario bros which allows up to 4 players and the charged jump from super mario bros 2. The e-reader can also impact the regular game with switch cards, the cape and boomerangs. The e-reader levels also include unique stuff.

The bombed it with removing parallax scrolling in the backgrounds, it was on the beta and the SMAS version. I think it's because the scrolling rates of parallax was wrong. Like the clouds scroll slower than the mountains though they're behind them etc.
