this is the best cover ive heard...i really enoyed it man...i listened to it several times today on my way to work, it got me in the mood to pick my guitar back up.
@flatbelly77 The chords are D, A, Bm, G, and Em. Of course I have the Capo on the 4th fret. The little fill ins are just things that seemed to fit to me but probably would not show up on a true tab. Hope that helps.
Good Job man. You do a great Steve Wariner cover. Good acoustics in that garage. In my cover band days my buddy used to do that song along with Vince Gill and Collin Ray covers. I did the low range guys like Randy Travis Merle Haggard Johnny Cash
good job, great voice, the only thing i would recomend is that you put more emotion in some of your phrasing,if you picture it while your singing it,you'll sell it every time.just a little advice but overall a fine job.
My best friend Mr. Steve Wariner would be proud that people are still playin his classics. You play it just like he showed me up in the studio at his house. Keep on playin and keep your chin up..Awesome
Dude, I wish I had a neighbor that sang like you, your beer would be free every weekend! God, I would finally be able to tell iTunes to F#*@ themselves!
I have to say that was one of, if not THE best cover of that song I have ever heard.... Accoustic is the way to go on that song. Sound really good man...keep it up!! I would be your agent any day!!
I heard this song about 20 years ago, my cuz played with Shelley West and the band played this song during tune up before show-tough song to sing, not many good covers, but this was very good. Keep it up, 2 thumbs up
wow...your rendition is really well done. :) I listened to SW's version and even though his is great, I think this song suits better with just a singer and a one-piece set.
Why don't you have a contract ?? I would buy all your albums / cd's ! You tugged at the heart strings of a sweet southern belle that loves Steve Warner . I have to admit , I like your version better. Spartanburg SC. Loves YOU!!
I have to agree... Every song you post is worth watching all the way to the end. Great voice man. Garage or stairs, acoustics always sound awesome. Keep em comin.
great stuff. i have become a huge fan and have listened to that Randy Rogers song and the stoney Larue song a million times. been practicing the guitar but one one you passed me by a long shot and it will take me a while (years) to get to this level.
