Superb sir! I used to be a Dispatcher on the deck at MAN for MYT. SP (always stunk of piss in the aft holds), TW (temperamental bugger that one!) , DC (a.k.a the 'death cruiser') and the odd one of the bunch, DA (she hung in there for a year or so after the 3 10-10's went)....good memories!
I'm a Loadmaster on MD-11 freighters these days. Looks the same and climbs like a bat out of hell on a go around, but just doesn't compare to the old DC's.
my grandad used to work at Kemble airfield, I remember him taking me there one weekend to see these go (he had been told they were going then) but they didnt, but I spent all afternoon sat in his car with him looking at them. Now wherever I look there seems to be something DC-10!
