Alfa Romeo For Me... I'm praying everyday that Alfa Romeo can make its comeback to the USA, so that I too can be an Alfista!!... I still dream to own one of those 1974 GTV though or a Brera... and as for this 8C.... I'd take it over all cars available today.... My GOD it's beautiful.

I'm pretty sure. This last generation of Alfas (159, Brera, Spider) isn't much because they were forced to use an obese Saab platform and GM blocks, but just before that Alfa was building some pretty good cars and the quality was only going up (GTV, 156, 169, GT and 147 were all great cars to drive and the build quality kept increasing steadily and that Arese V6, though old, was legendary).
Right now Alfa's engineer's hands are tied because of Fiat's decisions but hopefully this will pass.
yeah..would be nice. btw we have an old bertone..still running..2ltr engine but axle from 1750. tuning after car did not run by ferrari/maserati garage in france,,lol..inside the motor got there original red kable coil lead. outside looks not so nice but thats just a Q of operation^^ really nice car to drive esp by not to take care for scraches..

and that's your decision. i love the look of the Maser and i would love to own all three and drive the Scuderia around a track each week end, which sane person wouldn't? but the Alfa just has something about it that i find appeals to me. i would love the 8c Spider most though...

The 8C is basically a poor version of an Aston Martin Vantage, a far better car with similar looks and sound. The Scuderia is the most striking and aggressive and has the performance to back it up. The Maserati is fine if you are middle aged.
i don't care. the Scud is the most ugly of the three, yes it is the fastest though, by a couple of country miles. the Maserati is fine no matter what age... look at it its beauty almost at its best, only to be out done by the Alfa which is beauty at its best and most purest... that hot Italian chick you saw walking through the shopping center, she just got upstaged by a work of art by Alfa.
The Masaerti looks as dull as a politician. The Scuderia is far from ugly it looks fast and is fast. The Alfa is a boxer with a glass jaw, No-one in their right mind would buy the Alfa over an Aston Martin which it is deperatly trying to be but fails.
everyone except Ferrari know that the 430 Scuderia is uglier than the F430, which is one of the most ugly Ferrari's ever made. i am in my right mind and i would happily walk through the Aston Martin dealer, spit on the V8 Vantage, exit the dealer, walk to the Alfa dealer and buy an 8c. and i don't hate Aston either, they are wonderful cars. just the 8c is the best looking car ever.

The Alfa looks the child of a ZR1 corvette that has raped a V8 Vantage. The back is awful. An Aston DBS is classier looking. You're confusing ugly with aggressive. I wouldnt piss on the Maserati.

i heard the Granturismo the other day and it sounded fantastic... i can't say i have heard the Scuderia or 8c in real life so i couldn't say which makes the best noise.. who cares which one dose they all sound absolutely brilliant and, which one could you get bored listening to? I would be happy with hearing all of them for hours on end...
I am sorry to say that the 8C has NO engine sound at all any sound is muffled away by 8 catalysts !
So the engineers have to make gimmick sound with flaps into the exhaust...that is easy to find out, just watch the construction of the exhausts. There are only 2 from 4 REAL exhaust tubes and the other 2 ones are only opened at higher throttle and there re additional flaps inside that swing and make ARGHL BARGHL sound..very very poor :( real good sound can be obtained by ARESE 2,5 V6 from alfa 6
why don't people test the GranTurismo S which is 440 BHP & has a bit more 'torques' ?? I'm pretty sure that if someone is looking for a fast GT he won't bother with the 405BHP Maserati so all the tests of that version are useless ;)

The Fiat 130 3200 Coupé Pininfarina from 1973 looks so much more sophisticated and it also sounds much more natural and agressive...the 8C has synthetical sound made only by the muffler flaps, motorsound is muffled away..thats just not enough for a price that could buy you a house in Rome.
Oh I forgot the Fiat Dino 246 GT Coupé thats even more nice!
And I would allways prefer a car sounding as expensive at it is.
And regaring the looks a Fiat 130 Coupé 3200 V6 looks better to my eyes 1971 Fiat Dino 2,4 V6 Bertone Coupé too..dont forget the Citroen SM Maserati all those cars cost 1/100 and look better (sound better too!)

The Alfa looks like a futuristic life pod that you can drive. Too modern, in my opinion. The Ferrari I think everyone agrees is about the driving, not the looks.
The Maserati is the most beautiful, elegant car I've ever seen in production. Long beautiful lines, yet powerful looking, and easily a everyday car, unlike the alfa and ferrari...I'm buying a Granturismo S, for sure...unless the convertible next year is prettier, but they usually aren't :)

The 8C is basically a poor version of an Aston Martin Vantage, a far better car with similar looks and sound. The Scuderia is the most striking and aggressive and has the performance to back it up. The Maserati is fine if you are middle aged.

i don't care. the Scud is the most ugly of the three, yes it is the fastest though, by a couple of country miles. the Maserati is fine no matter what age... look at it its beauty almost at its best, only to be out done by the Alfa which is beauty at its best and most purest... that hot Italian chick you saw walking through the shopping center, she just got upstaged by a work of art by Alfa.

The Masaerti looks as dull as a politician. The Scuderia is far from ugly it looks fast and is fast. The Alfa is a boxer with a glass jaw, No-one in their right mind would buy the Alfa over an Aston Martin which it is deperatly trying to be but fails.

everyone except Ferrari know that the 430 Scuderia is uglier than the F430, which is one of the most ugly Ferrari's ever made. i am in my right mind and i would happily walk through the Aston Martin dealer, spit on the V8 Vantage, exit the dealer, walk to the Alfa dealer and buy an 8c. and i don't hate Aston either, they are wonderful cars. just the 8c is the best looking car ever.
the Maserati looks amazing, what politicians are you looking at, i want to look at them too :D

The Alfa looks the child of a ZR1 corvette that has raped a V8 Vantage. The back is awful. An Aston DBS is classier looking. You're confusing ugly with aggressive. I wouldnt piss on the Maserati.

i heard the Granturismo the other day and it sounded fantastic... i can't say i have heard the Scuderia or 8c in real life so i couldn't say which makes the best noise.. who cares which one dose they all sound absolutely brilliant and, which one could you get bored listening to? I would be happy with hearing all of them for hours on end...

I am sorry to say that the 8C has NO engine sound at all any sound is muffled away by 8 catalysts !
So the engineers have to make gimmick sound with flaps into the exhaust...that is easy to find out, just watch the construction of the exhausts. There are only 2 from 4 REAL exhaust tubes and the other 2 ones are only opened at higher throttle and there re additional flaps inside that swing and make ARGHL BARGHL sound..very very poor :( real good sound can be obtained by ARESE 2,5 V6 from alfa 6

why don't people test the GranTurismo S which is 440 BHP & has a bit more 'torques' ?? I'm pretty sure that if someone is looking for a fast GT he won't bother with the 405BHP Maserati so all the tests of that version are useless ;)

Of course like Ferrari in this time the engine were very fragil because so efficient. It s was more difficult to make a V8 instead of an 1.6. Learn also about Lancia great cars.

The Fiat 130 3200 Coupé Pininfarina from 1973 looks so much more sophisticated and it also sounds much more natural and agressive...the 8C has synthetical sound made only by the muffler flaps, motorsound is muffled away..thats just not enough for a price that could buy you a house in Rome.
Oh I forgot the Fiat Dino 246 GT Coupé thats even more nice!

You have never seen or listened to a FIAT DINO and you have never seen a Fiat 130 luxury v6 Coupé from the 70´s If I compare to Alfa or Ferrari from that time no difference in Quality..

The Alfa looks like a futuristic life pod that you can drive. Too modern, in my opinion. The Ferrari I think everyone agrees is about the driving, not the looks.
The Maserati is the most beautiful, elegant car I've ever seen in production. Long beautiful lines, yet powerful looking, and easily a everyday car, unlike the alfa and ferrari...I'm buying a Granturismo S, for sure...unless the convertible next year is prettier, but they usually aren't :)

when alfa was from fiat nobody was saying that it was not a alfa but a fiat and also you can find many part that fit on a alfa or ferrari or maseratie and fiat and lancia so it oke but for example when the get a bmw engine in a italiaan car than it is not oke
