  • hey dude im looking at getting a e-bike is 20 mph fast enough? i guess its faster then a bike but idk.

  • that e-bike is noss man!

  • @ghostbiker55 lucky ;)

  • Really nice. ...

  • nice bike.i have a ez3usx i put a electric hub motor on and i am running@36volts with 20 amp hr batterys.i can go 22mph with a 20"wheel for 25 miles before i need a recharge without peddling.i put a electric motor on my bike because i heard it was illegal to pedal azz.

its a lot of fun to chase cars thru town.i have over 3000 miles on my hub motor with no problems.ive converted 5 bikes with 3 different type motors.

    have fun nice video

  • do you think 48v 1000watt hubs are too heavy, or do you think a 36v 500watt set -up is adequate for general use?

  • Nice video! It would have been much nicer if it also include info on miles between charging times, cost of the kits, more detailed view of the bike.

  • The song is Daydream off of garage band on the apple/mac computers!

  • Looks cool.

  • chances are my license is going to be suspended and i know it is legal to operate an e bike on the road so i was wondering if their is a reliable way to build an e bike that i can do mid 20's on for 12-15 miles before chargeing. i hear that the starter motors off of cars get hot so i need a great motor and battery that will stay cool and last me for a while.

  • It's still illegal to drink and drive these bikes seven.

  • the song is from garage band on the mac I think

  • Anyone know what the song in this video is?

  • The only problem I see with this... the guy is not using a helmet. LOL

  • @asarapi His skull is his helmet.

  • Looks pretty good and a lot cheaper than most electric bikes.

  • Question about the batteries and things. How many charges is it good for?

  • Battery life is dependant on how hard you push the battery's limits... (true for all batteries)

Gel cell batterys (typical of the e-bikes...) usually go bad due to shelf life before they go bad from being cycled, so there's not a lot of data regarding how many cycles they can get in real life.

    Don't overcharge

    Don't over-discharge

and don't get the batteries too hot...

you'll get a lot of cycles.

    So the question beconmes...

how hot do the batteries get?

  • in other words, battery technology needs to be improved upon.

  • Battery technology is always getting better.

The development of LiPo (Lithium-Polymer) batteries was a HUGE leap... and they have made large improvements in the LiPo technology in the past 5 years, increasing capacity by over 20% and current handling capability by over 100% (for the same size and weight cell)

The only battery technology that has essentially peaked is the venerable Lead-acid wet cell.

  • Cool E-bike check out mine. Click my name! 1st AC-Ebike

  • cool

  • you think the vid is cool, wait till u see one push'n 40+ on a main road, unbeleivable

  • yea but how does it go uphill?

  • Well you could always just pedal up hills, or walk. I wouldn't let hills stop me from buying one of these.

  • u can get them off ebay

  • Hey where can you get one and how much does it cost?

  • Dsmn Man, this thing is sick, ill defenitely buy one

  • sweet, now i wanna see one of these on a fast roadbike, a strong guy, and see if you can hit 45 on the flat

  • I highly doubt that since a fast road bike would be around 16 pounds, and then you add this hunk of stuff that weighs like 40 pounds or more.

  • its all wind resistance, weight would slow you down a bit, but not too much, i can sprint about 30 on the flat for a ways, i think if i was already idling 20 i could get quite a bit faster.

  • I have done as fast as 35mph(37.1)with very little wind and no resistance from anything else. I have a 27 speed as well so.

  • Goes about 15 to 20 miles per charge depending how much you pedal assist.

  • Hi, is there anyway some sort of dyno can be run in line with the drive chain and create its own charge so that if the battery runs out you will still get some sort of power assistance?

  • where can i buy one?

  • Sweet! - the wave of the future ?
