If you build your energy properly It will actually "Burn" and keep burning. there Is Definatly Inner energy In this. for a simple normal slap stings for just a mere few seconds. I'm an external fighter (Karate) But these techniques have always intrigued me. and i would love to know more about them. Perhaps you could post a video on the philosiphy of internal kung fu? or a few of the techniques
.What are the practical applications to this? i dont know lol But i guess if you know your going to be murdered you can make your attacker suffer but my teacher teaches it more for healing purposes

ive been on the receiving end of this strike (not from lao xie, but ray c), and I can say that it feels VERY different from "just a slap".
on some of the strikes, you can see not just the palm imprint, but the outline of the bones of the hand within the palm print.
this is just a demonstration. but if anyone thinks they can do the same thing, please post a vid response. you may find (like I did) that it's not so easy to get the result he is...

However, physicists have been discussing multiple dimensions for awhile now. However, the infrared camera is a tool that has been used to measure change in heat and it has measured that change as a result of the energy of a chigong master. Search for "Qigong Master Demonstrates Pyrokinesis "
I use a similar technique for breaking (iron palm). When you practice your technique, do you feel your chi rush thorugh you or just build up in one place?
@rekcufeht a normal slap does not leave bone prints. it is an internal strike, as compared to the iron palm which is external and will leave severe external damage, hence the vibratory strike does the damage on the inside. i think the idea of this palm (from my limited understanding) strike was to send damage thru amor. i can only say these things from what i have witnessed as i am only working on iron palm as of now. i think your 2 describes the strike quite well.

It depends where the qi is focused for example, it it is aimed at bone instead of skin, the bone can shatter. the qi can be directed to the weak areas for healing with a palm strike. The training methods for this palm strike pays off in healing ability.
I stepped the video by frames and the slap fingers never hit the arm in the place where the red marks became visible... try it and see!

The slap does not seem to hurt at all. It just showed on the skin of the student, and he did not even have facial expression about being hurt.
