  • was that golden spider thing venomous

  • well, technically all spiders are venomous. But this one does have a venom that is toxic to humans. They send people to the hospital pretty often down there I think.

  • @Reebbo why did you hold it??

  • @Reebbo

I see them around my house. Beautiful spiders. And in florida there's like 10 types of orbs

  • @Reebbo dude i saw 1 of thouse wen i live in FL, !!!!!! wow but they were a bit bigger i knew what they where but i never knew how remarcable they are.

  • Cool

  • We get Golden-Orbs in Australia but they get much bigger than that I had one in my yard that was 250mm Long.

  • Haha thats the camera operator/girlfriend.

You stay away from her though Handbannanna. I saw what you did to Carl...

  • lol ya know we should hang out i just love your upbeat attitude you crack me up im going to austrailia next year to do some feild herping keep up the good work

  • @Reebbo lol

  • your the next NG show host on herping.Love the videos.

  • a lot of falls, scrapes, bruises, bites, and cuts...

    but nothing serious.

  • He called the spider "Sweetheart." If that doesn't show a love for creatures..... :)

  • In order to catch a Basilisk you should try at night, you may then find them resting in the trees trunk and sometimes over the floor vegetation, especially the juveniles...At day it is almost impossible to achieve that, but I guess you just probed that hehehe, anyway, nice job Dylan...

  • we actually did catch a very very young one at night sleeping on a leaf. All the larger ones were always out of reach though.

  • Now let me get this right. You say that you know what you are doing and you are looking for " Herps" in a Rain Forrest in Costa Rica in shorts

and bare feet. I love your videos but you are showing a lack of concern for what lives there.

There are several deadly snakes that live in t5hat country. Why are you so reckless ?

  • I was on the beach. I have boots and stuff for forest hiking.

  • Awesome, your're smart dude.

  • the whit under the spider looks like a face.

  • how do keep track of the names of stuff lol u know alot man

  • that was the male spider. you could see his pedipalps.

  • Man I wish I could go to Costa Rica, I love reptiles, especially snakes.

  • ur really great at handling all most every thing

  • i wana catch a basilisk!

  • lol! nice vid and btw at 8:29 theres a little wight bird in the background lol

  • yea it was an Ibis.

He was hanging all around that stream catching fish.

  • Do you think those basilisks would be noosable?

  • no... we couldnt even get close enough for that.

I did consider that though hahaha. The noose works great on some lizards.

  • Now that is one heck of a 'lizard' to run on its back feet like that. Ive seen them on TV. Wow!

  • big spider, i like the web!

  • sweet
