i got one off ebay a few months back for like 100 bucks!!, it's been solid for ever gig i have played so far, of course i got rid of the vcc( just didn't sound right) and replaced the pup with some old seymour duncan's i got out of an old korean made samick flying v, ever since then this guitar has been a constant source of awesomeness since i modded the pots after a 59 les paul, not heavy as one, the buzz fenten intonation system allows this axe to sing for a long time, recommend it to anyone!
@bluesman1981 mine was the wine red finish, since i didn't give that much for it, it has been beat up n what not so now it looks like a relic LOL, but yeah awesome guitar for the money, can pick them up now for less than half of what they were going for when they first came out, i plan on taking it and putting a bigsby style tremeolo and putting in some of those retron series pups from guitar fetish,replace the bridge with a roller style bridge and a few other mods and it should be good to go!!!
