Should have included Old Mark Twain school, now a museum. I went to first grade there. I remember when it cost 25 cents to get into Rogers Theater on Saturday afternoons. lol
i have lived my entire life in pb, i love the slideshows you put up, i just wish i was old enough to have seen the old pb before wal mart put a strangle hold on all the mom n pop places. i love all the pictures mr. clanhan has on the pbjhs website too. i miss going to the rodgers for a movie, it felt so cool walking out of the rodgers and the lobby was just classic. i remember watching ghost busters there as a kid.
I wish that we had the time to take more pictures when we were there for a short visit with my brothers and sisters. We were in Missouri to attend my mother-in-law's funeral in St. Charles, Mo. So I just used the pictures that I had
Thanks for this video. I'm from Poplar Bluff. Hey, you left out Old Mark Twain School. I actually went to school there in the first, second, and third grade. Then I went to New Mark Twain fourth, fifth, and sixth. You know you're getting old when they make a museum out of your grade school.
Hi Zita!! Remember chemistry with "Chrome Dome"! Love the pics and sound.

Not bad! However, I think the brick part of Main Street would've been a nice addition, though it might not technically be called a "place."
