  • i have dark circles but the shadow on mine is from my eyelashes, not the things he mentioned -__- dont think mine are really going away

  • Call me crazy, but i find men with eye bags/ dark undereye circles to be sexy....wait...you know what...that's only for James McAvoy...my bad.

  • I have dark circles since I born.. -_-

  • the conclusion of this video is that if we want to eliminate dark circles we have to see a dermatologist or contact you. But the fact is that due to time constraints we cannot do so. Therefore, this video is of little informative value.

  • @vbnrtyfgh Well i disagree, I think it's of a lot of value. It offers nothing but facts and real information, unlike the information drug and skin care companies feed us. It just doesn't offer a quick fix that we are so used to, and that's probably why you're not satisfied after watching it.

  • I've had dark circles since I was at least 5. STUPID HEREDITY >.< No concealers work for me and my dark circles constantly get darker D:

  • @Sakura11101 Same!! Ive had mine forever, and i spend hours looking up things that say use teabags and cucumber and spoons, but it doesnt work for me! Im in 7th grade now, and its getting old...

  • im 12 and i got under eye circles..

    D:

  • @anadexerex same ive had them since 12 :/

  • @boredxxtofly

ikr :/ i want to remove them but none of the home made stuff worked for me >.<

im considering to buy the garnier under eye roller but im nto sure if it works

  • @anadexerex Do not buy the garnier under eye roller it does not work at all, i bought it a few months ago and to be honest it's crap! It doesn't do anything at all and you will be just wasting your money and time trying it. Hope this helped and i am purchasing Hydroxatone cause it is suppose to be the best for dark circles,so i will post a comment in 60 days to say if it works

  • @MegaNintendogamer1 please let me know as well whether hydroxatone works or not, that would be great! i have been trying to find a remedy for my eye circles, but nothing helps.

  • @Maryangel24 It came in the mail today, so i will message you to say if takes them away in a month or so :) P.s I know how you feel, it really sucks having dark circles and they are really hard to cover up even with expensive concealer products.

  • @MegaNintendogamer1 oooh exciting! good luck, i really hope it works. and so true! even with concealer on it sometimes shines through :( and it really sucks when you're at the beach or when you go to a pool, you don't want to wear anything on your face, but you also don't want to look like a drug addict because of your circles. so annoying!

  • @anadexerex i agree with the other people, the garnier under eye roller does NOT help.

haven't found anything that works so far either :(

  • @anadexerex don't bother, it doesn't.

  • @anadexerex At least you orobs don't have it as bad as me D:

  • 100% raw vegan diet is the ONLY thing that got rid of them- and I tried everything. : /

  • im 14 and i have dark circles:( my mom has them, but puffy and my brother has them. i cover them with concelaer and foundation. if i apply a lot of makeup it helps but i want it natural how do i use cucumber to help?

  • @legends31822 you just get the cucumber and cool it for 2 hours then apply it to you eyes and when its not cool you take the cucumber and repeat the process

  • i am 14 years old an i have terrible under eye circles i have tried everything to get rid of them and my parents do not like taking me to see any type of doctor unless it is because of sickness i was wondering if my under eye circles are genetic or if they just need to be treated more carefully thank you for your time. :D

  • @flora12181 hey there :) i used to have under eye circles and under eye bags too ....all u have to do is treat ur eyes more carefully and use a moisturizer or get the Roc retinol correxion eye cream before u go to bed ....and get a good sleep too ....i hope that help u ..

  • I'm fifteen and I've had bags under my eyes my whole life. It's actually hereditary in my case. Everyone always thinks I look mad, and I think it's the circles under my eyes that cause it. It's actually rather embarrassing for me, and I don't know if it's possible to eliminate the bags.

  • hey. I'm 20 and that's the problem of my life. Since I'm 13 a have dark circle under my eyes and puffiness above and under my eyes. Today It's so big that even if I put make on I still look very tired or angry (don't understand I sleep very well). • im eleven and i have dark under eye circles and i cant get rid of them!

  • I like this guy. He didn't try to scam you with a product or surgical solution. He simply tells us the facts and that a dermatologist will come up with our individual solution.

  • @R3DRoZ3 I'm in the same boat. Hereditary sunken...it sucks.

  • wow i thought he was gonna tell me how to get rid of them. not just send me to my doctor. a minute 47 seconds wasted.

  • how to remove undereye darkness:

    1-drink plenty of water

2-rest your eyes when reading or watcing something for too long

    3-dont stay up too late

  • how about puffiness?

  • i'm 22 and i had dark circles sine my childhood, any help on getting rid of them, they never go away. i bought expensive eye creams which never help, i over sleeping a lot so they can go away and this makes things worse because it s a waste of time sleeping too much, and they still won't go away

  • do a liver cleanse

  • @ImplantedAgenda does live cleanse really help? how expensive is it

  • @TheMaciel89 well it could be the case. first off. whats your diet like? do you normally eat healthy or junk food? when was the last cleanse you did? what type of cleanse? colon, kidney, gal bladder liver etc?

  • @ImplantedAgenda my diet is good, i eat a lot of junk food food bu t mostly healthy, i m only 22 years old and i never had a cleanse?

  • @TheMaciel89 OK. well one thing that's for sure is that your problem can't be solved with topical creams! you need to do all the cleanses! start off with a colon cleanse. the fastest cheapest way is to do a "fast"! either that, or do a longer more expensive one. are you willing to do a two-three day fast?

  • @ImplantedAgenda yrea im willing to do a two day fast

  • @TheMaciel89 look into doing an apple fast

  • dear dr schultz,

i am 18 and already have fine lines under my eyes. is it too early to use peptide creams? and if so, whats the reason that when you use those creams when youre younger? thanks in advance!

  • i always had under eyes dark circle ever since i can ... remember .. and now im 23 and the damn thing is still there, in addition just one minor mistake such as like lack of sleep or.. over consumption of sugar or something they quickly worsen plz can u help me? it would be much appreciated and thank you in advance for the wonderful video

  • I always look very tired , because of violet dark circles under my eyes, and I am only 17.. My mother said good sleep will help.

  • @zanuxiite i have them since i was a little kid my mother said it's hereditary... from my father's side... ive been trying to get rid of them forever! im now 24 and just recently started putting vitamin e on them and they seem to be lightening already! maybe this will help you too! good luck!

  • I have had hereditary dark circles since i was born :( and unfortunately i can't do anything about them :'(

  • @jarla59 same here...:((

  • every dermatologist tells me that dark circles form from 1 or many of the following: Heredity, Dehydration (my reason:/) lack of sleep, poor nutrition (too much sugar or salt), or dead skin cells around the eye . Fix which ever you have of the following for about 2weeks-month and youll realize it can be easily cured.

  • You can use a concealer while your treatment is getting thought

  • do i need sunscreen for my eyes too? can i use the sunscreen i use on my face to my eyes? or is that too harsh?

  • I'm 14 years old, I have dark circles since I was 9 , I have deep eyes and they make me look tired.

  • @MrsGameOver I've got the same problem! I'm 19 and I have them since like I was 5! I fucking hate them.

  • I'm 21 and i suffer from bad dark under eye circles due to allergies. Thats my own diagnose. I suffer from Allergic rhinitis, dust mite allergy and hyperventilation so i certainly think thats the cause. Now it's my own fault because i don't take my medications as prescribed so i really want to start doing that and see if my dark circles disappear. I've had them since i was 10... people always ask me if I'm tired or sick if i don't put on any concealer.

  • a real dr! I cant believe it. I have been searching for a derm but so many bafoons. He really knows his stuff. He is like a gold mine of brains and honesty.

  • Mine is caused by thin, pale skin. I'm one of those lucky ones to have the 'scooped out' look (opposite to baggy eyes). Dermatologist said there's nothing I can do, so I'm stuck wearing under eye concealer for eternity so I don't look like a sleep-deprived, diseased junkie :S

  • @ButtonMuncher Hahahahahaha xD Yeah, I think I have the same problem

  • very cute.. wish you were my doctor...

  • Hi Dr. Schultz that video like the rest said absolutely nothing but double talk and mumbo jumbo are you a real Dr. or like a vitamin salesmen wearing a white coat. sitting in a room with some books behind him.

  • Hi Dr Schultz.

I'm 16 and have had dark eye circles and small wrinkles under my eyes. It can be concealed with makeup but it's odd, I think I should have this problem as a teenager. Do you know what the cause can be, because I know I'm getting enough sleep.

  • I would think that part of the reason people have dark circles is from not getting enough sleep or staying up late.

  • im 20 and i have really dark... Dark Circles since i was 12 and nothing seems to work , i look older every day (really feel depressed)

    any more tips ?

    thank you,

  • Im 19 and my under eye circles are so bad.. looks like mascara has always run so i have panda eyes.. ruins my life! i want something to fix them soooo bad :( im sick of concealer !

  • 'all they lighten...are your wallets...' BURN

  • Are sunscreen creams with higher than 30 SPF just a marketing gimic? I've seen some up to 60 SPF: so is higher better?

  • Thankyou for a very informative video

I am 18 and i think my dark circles started when i was about 13 roughly the time when i started my periods. I have tried everything to try to get rid of them could they be inherited? and what can i do to get rid of them?

  • hello ...i have red spots from acne on my face...

the doctor told me to take minaxen for 2 weeks and wash my face

and in 15 days he told me to visit him again..

how long will it take to have a clear skin??

the doctor told me that it can be cured ,...

pls answer to me i need ur help thx

  • Hey Dr. Schultz! thanks for providing us some information about this topic that def is such a problem for many of us. My questions is, what best product do you consider to be used for this procedure? ... im pretty sure that what i have is that leaking blood problem. for im allergic too, but the darkness have increased with the time. Its not that bad, but since im dark skin, the dark circles are darker... And last question, what do you think about the product named "Hylexin"?

    Thanks!! :)

  • @Takime999

ye, i have the same problem, so i read on internet that puting almond oil on dark circles will reduce them,

so i tried it, i put some oil on my circles every night before i went to bed... and they are not as dark or puffy anymore

  • why treat them, mine makes me look sexy

  • @SilverGunZoO or so you think

  • @odelay34 Of course !

  • Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my question:) I bought some peptide eye cream today along with a 10% glycolic acid toner..and hoping for it to work! Thanks again!

  • Hi Dr. Schultz!

I'm only 22 and am seeing under eye wrinkles already. I use a good eye cream and protect it from the sun, what else could i do to prevent more wrinkles or to smooth out these ones that i already have? Thanks alot!

  • Even in your 20s its not to early to start using "peptide" creams and glycolic products, both of which help to build collagen, and increase "GAGs" which surrounds the collagen. Both of them increase the volume of the middle layer (dermis) of the skin which helps smooth out and fix fine lines and wrinkles and help to prevent new ones.

Of course, continue to use sunscreen every day with an SPF of between 15 and 30, with UV A protection.

  • @dermTVdotcom already?! im only 14 and i have them =( hereditary

  • @dermTVdotcom hi Dr Schultz can you recommend a good peptide cream that's not too oily? It seems like most moisturizers, even those that are oil-free break my skin out and i still need to treat my lines (im only 18!). Thank You

  • @iluvpenguins007 Hi, you need to stop buying skin products with perfume and oils in them!

Look for something PH balanced, that says on the label it won't cause acne. Took me ages to figure it out, it's helped my skin heaps. The skin is a delicate organ, and most skin products are not that good for it.

With cosmetics, look for non-comedogenic, and non-acnegenic.

I can't use normal sunscreens because they make me break out, so I use a tinted SPF moisturiser from KOSMEA (it's expensive, but good).

  • @ButtonMuncher

    heyy :)

thank you so much for the tip!

hah it's so random i'm going to sydney in 3 days i'll definetely look further to that kosmea brand

  • @iluvpenguins007 Look for a Chemist Warehouse--it will be cheapest there!

  • @ButtonMuncher Thank you!!

  • @dermTVdotcom hi these peptide creams , can you get any drug store? or is it a specific that you wud recommend ?

  • @Mahigak if you wear make up, make sure you don't rub your eyes hard to take it off. use a make up remover. I've learned the hard way!! :(

  • @mamaxiong

    thanks friend! :)
