  • Dam bro I just did 315 for one rep and I am tired as hell. I hope I could get like this in the near future.

  • name of song?...

  • Pretty good form for a heavy weight an 15 reps! Keep it up!

  • I mean impressive I guess but you don't really go low enough in terms of bending your knees

  • @AMos050 What difference does it make? He's concentrating the deadlift on his back rather than his legs, that just makes it harder.

  • I love how the song continues to play after the video has stopped.

  • Before you bitch, please realize that 405 lbs for 15 reps is a lot of freaking weight. I'd like to see some of you deadlift 405 for one rep with your "perfect" form :)

  • To everyone bitching about touch and go he is also doing SLDL's pretty much which usually allow one to lift less weight than conventional due to lack of leg drive. So in all reality I'm sure he could do this either way (though if he's trying to do regular deadlifts he should work more on resetting the weight and lifting with his legs).

  • Nice!

  • Your grip is wrong,

    Nice though,

  • @pking4lifely what do you mean his grip is wrong? this is called a hook grip and whilst it is harder to grip the bar with this grip, it reduces the chance of tearing your bicep. do some research before criticising a guy who is clearly a lot stronger and experienced than you.

  • oh and btw. your strength is much stronger than your fysic looks like :s! sick !!

  • respect mate! how old are you?

  • yo its 400lbs so all the haters can suck it. i am a PT and its really good form. great lift man.

  • @1981aaronthomas "All you haters can suck it".. You're a doctor? What is this world coming to..? (rhetorical question)

  • mhh strange... ur really strong but u got not muscles. u need testosterone ;)

  • i do mine differently. I stop after every rep, reset and go again. I'm not in a race, and I'm not doing DL for conditioning so speed is needed.

  • I'm 5'8"

  • how tall are you? Looking pretty thick for 186

  • How tall are you? Im 6ft, and my deadlifts arent nearly as fluid or smooth as that. (To anyone else I know about momentum, and dont care, his first lift was smooth)

  • Damnit i love fuckin haters! GREAT WORK MY MAN! Let the haters sit at there computer screen and whack it to what they wish they could do..

  • Point number one I dont see a problem with the touch and go reps. I want to be an explosive athelete.

  • idk why people bitch about touching and going, if he wants to do reps consecutively then go ahead, its 400 pds for 15. just give him props or dont comment. not every one is trying to be a professional power lifter

  • Great job man! You made that look easy!!! God bless

  • go static and no wraps, then see what you can do.

  • @bull3441 Heck Yeah I love doing that. My grip gives out at around 13-15........with bouncy cheating reps like this I can get in the mid 20's now. But I will say that this gives me an incredible feel. And it's usually after I've gone for a heavy 1-4 rep range set.

  • @Azzkikr548

Pretty strong for your weight... You don't even look that big(no offense).. and yet very strong...

  • @bull3441 What difference does it make if you need to use straps? As you get heavier and heavier, you wrists are going to give out before your back. Who says 'Well, I can't grip it anymore so I guess I can't go heavier.'? If your grip gives out before your back, you're an idiot to give up instead of just giving your wrist some extra support.

  • @bull3441 NO!!! stop stop stop!!!!!!!!!! >_< its fine the way hes doing it u cant do it this way so shoosh

  • @j4cked7 . Yeah....I would have named the youtube vid nondeadlifts but nobody searches for that so I wouldn't get any feedback.

  • @Azzkikr548 lmao that one made me laugh xD

  • Mostly bodybuilding...I just did the Natural Northern USAs in Cleveland on Oct 2nd........but I will probably do a few powerlifting meets in the future.

  • sick dude-do you compete in bodybuilding or powerlifting?

  • where did u get those straps from those look a lot eaiser to use

  • @Darkstar2520 Those are the Pro series "Versa Gripps." They're a bit more expernsive, but once you get used to them, you'll never go back.

  • @Darkstar2520 Those are the Pro series "Versa Gripps." They're a bit more expensive, but once you get used to them, you'll never go back.

  • @Azzkikr548 Also how many times do you do deadlift each week and what other back exercises do u combine it with thanks

  • Did you try standing on a plate or two to get extra depth at the lower end of the motion?? I find it works great (but yes I don't lift nowhere near as much as you, just sayin tho).

  • dude you make that look SO light. this is def motivation for me to hit 405 at least 6 times (im only at 4 :/ ). keep up the good work bro

  • @Juice8711

I remember when I couldn't even pull 405........wasn't too long ago really...maybe 3 years or so. ....and I've just gotten better over time and it's become one of my strongest lifts...if not the strongest.

  • awesome strength and endurance! aiming for 405 for 12 at 190lb body weight...almost there, thanks for the inspiration

  • why not 20?

  • @mlippelt I was going for 15....I'll rep to absolute failure and see what I can get...I know it was starting to get heavy around 14, 15...but maybe that's cause I knew the end was coming.
