I think the actual idea was to illustrate the effects of war on the human psyche. Makes for an interesting premise, but it's so poorly handled that Robin comes across as very irritating, spoilt, self-centred and a thorough bubblehead.

That said, I am sure Blair Tefkin is a much nicer person in real life. Other than interviews done in the '80s, she has since refused to talk about her role as Robin -- quite understandable, really.
