  • Buenisimo!!!

  • It always looks so easy when i see the videos, but gotta admit i'm a tiny bit scared to jump into it!!

  • I love the music, makes it sooo dramatic =)

  • I just love ur video!!!

Is the greatest way to make pop cakes if u dont have the mold

    *w*b

  • I love you videos!! I'm totally gonna make this

  • Easier way- Get doughnut holes, stick em on a lollipop stcik. Dip em in frosting or melted chocolate. Roll em in sprinkles. TA DAAAAAAA

  • @VioletLie1 That is a great idea!!!!!

  • Shortening? D: This recipe is definitely not for the health-conscious..

  • @princesspout89 lol its only a little bit...and you only eat these once in a great while so its not so bad.

  • Very nice Video Thank you.

  • i make these cakepops from this cake ball tutorial and i used more than half a can of frosting because they fell apart! If you want them to stay in one piece while you are dipping them MAKE SURE that they are well put together and that they have been in the freezer for a while like HOURS

  • I tried dying the almond bark to a different color, but it COMPLETELY messed up its consistency and ruined it! :( I found out that it only uses oil-based or powdered food coloring, but I used water-based and it's all I have. Is there a way I can make the food coloring oil-based so I can dye it without messing up the coating?

  • Can we use anything other than Almond Bark?

  • @ilovebrayden4ever Yes...you can also use candy melts or chocolate chips.

  • Bark????

  • Awesome, thank you!

  • i'm going to be making some for this Saturday. can i make them a day before and if so how would i store them. thank you

  • @mypb0325 You sure can. Just store them in an air tight container:)

  • @sparklyblonde1 Thank you very much. This are delicious my kids love them! God Bless You!

  • @mypb0325 Thank you so much! I"m so glad that they enjoyed them:) xoxo Faith

  • Buy then are tue cake balls itsel already baked pr do you bake it with the icing ?

  • I just made these following bakerella's recipe and I found the mixture too moist and wet. Half a can of frosting did it for you? I should have found this video before I attempted! :) Thanks for posting this. I'll try your technique next time!

  • how many grams cake is that?

  • i have a big sweet tooth but i hate tubed frosting. it is dense and leaves a greasy aftertaste.

  • @BenPR100 Use the whipped versions of frosting. They are not as dense. When using a dense frosting, I always add whipped buttercream frosting to it. It tastes just like homemade.

  • This is so cool. Thank you!:)

  • omg this so great im so happy i found this, it looks so easy to do and i can make a bunch of these :D ty so much for the vid :)

  • I think this would be great for a party, especially on the holidays just using relatible colors for the season.

  • i can make this!! i got plenty of toothpicks at home. XDD

  • You're, YOU'RE going to need a cookie sheet... -_-;

Thank you so much for the video though, fab! :D

  • I have a question, I'm making cake pops as I'm typing this, but is it alright for the covering I use chocolate syrup or that chocolate syrup that hardens.

  • @CheernBalletx3 I not 100% sure but I don't think that would work. You could try it on a few and see what happens. You can also use melted chocolate or candy melts.

  • I was wondering, can I just buy hersheys chocolate and melt those and still be good? and use some funfetti cake?

  • @MsBlueLay You sure can:) I love funfetti cake!

  • happy valentines day hope u have a great one!:)

  • @julietmish Thank you so much! I hope you have a great one too:)

  • @sparklyblonde1 Do we have to bake the cake in the pan ur using?

  • Thank you now my diet it ruined.

  • What else can you use to thin the melted almond bark besides shortening?

  • thank you so much now finally my mom can make a different dessert

  • YAY YOU'RE CANADIAN!

  • great vid! next time show us the inside of the final product!

  • ...The master mind behind starbucks cake pops >_>

  • @sparklyblonde the name of the song please :D

nice videos by the way ;)

  • @mostafa50500 'Kalimba' by Mr. Scruff.

  • @FozzieKitten Thanks honey bee ;)

  • I like using Candy Melts. xp Really easy to do. ^^; I didn't ever think about using chocolate bark before.

  • the food coloring always made my white chocolate separate.. ever have problems with that??

  • @Mickeyd4266 It has happened to me before. Have you tried using gel food coloring?

  • @Mickeyd4266 Water-based food coloring(or any kind of water or water-based substance) in small amounts will make chocolate seize or separate. So, just like sparklyblonde1 said, you're going to have to use gel-based or powder food coloring.

  • @Mickeyd4266 because chocolate and water do NOT mix. try using an oil based food colouring.

  • The only problem I have is that when I make them they have a flat bottom :\ how can I make them so that they are completely round??

  • Omg! This is awesome~

I will definitely try this <3

  • That awkward moment when you're on a diet yet looking up cake balls ._.

  • song?

  • @Kastrero808 Ninja Tuna- Kalimba

  • @XxS3CR3CY Correction: Mr. Scruff - Kalimba. Ninja Tune is the record label. It's Ninja Tune, not "Ninja Tuna".

  • that made me hungery:3

  • Where'd you get the almond bark from?

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm <3 :D

  • im making these right now! about to go into the freezer :) so excited to eat like 20 of them haha

  • @sparklyblonde1 can i use chocolate instead of the almond

  • @13Jaderose Yes:)

  • can you send me some? :)

  • i am going to watch this and follow exactly to make my boyfriend some cake pops. could you tell me how do i go about putting in letters for the deco? do you recommend some kinda foundant?

  • i love u u help me for every thing u can do anything

  • @lipsmackerlovertv Aww thank you so much! I'm glad I could help:) xoxo

  • Did you wait a certain amount of time after taking the cake balls out from the freezer before dipping them into the almond bark? :)

  • @koolusuki601 Nope, I dipped them right after.

  • Can you use something else besides almond bars?

  • @smallpersonx Yes, you can use candy melts or chocolate chips:)

  • @sparklyblonde1 :D thank you!

  • Your awesome...thanks!

  • @Regandres Thanks!

  • cool like every step you show look very easy and also liked the music haha :D awesome!

  • @jimmysmoke24 Thank you so much!

  • Oh diva! With your nails painted to mach the video subject! LOVE!

  • the hell is almond bark? looked like white chocolate to me

  • i used toothpicks the last time i made cake balls.... and as soon as i dipped them into the almond bark the toothpicks came right out! (was a huge and very frustrating mess) is it because u put them in the freezer?

  • @willsmomma08 I don't think so...how long did you have them in the freezer?

  • @sparklyblonde1 thats the thing,, i didnt. i put them in the fridge for about 15 min

  • @willsmomma08 that happened to me too :(

  • hey can u use melted frosting instead of almond bark?

  • @veroeli2012 No, the frosting would really dry like the almond bark does

  • hi, i have a question... i was wondering, if you could make a little person (including the body) with cake pops. i didn't wanna use fondant because i have no real experience with it, and they are, plus, very expensive for me. i'm making my little cousin her birthday cake and i was wondering if you can form the little faces with cake pops, i mean, can we do a whole body using this? if i was about to make the body, arms, and legs separate to color it, how would i attach them? thanks so mch!

  • @eternalbliss090222 You would have to use toothpicks or cut up Twizzlers. And something like m&ms for the eyes. You would have to make the little people sitting down. and you could probably just stick the arms and legs in.

  • these are so cool:)

  • If I don't have shortening, could I use a bit of milk as a substitute?

  • What if my cake balls aren't staying together and making balls??

  • @skaterlovers101 How much frosting did you use?

  • wish you have broken open one of the balls so I could see what it looks like, but this is a neat idea. Imagine you store them in the refrigerator?

  • Awesome job! Nicely done!!

  • Xenoma86 thxxx

  • um... THERE CALLED CAKE POPS!!!!!!!

  • @MrTherandom75 Umm there called cake pops if you put them on a stick!!!

  • @sparklyblonde1 & MrTherandom75.... It's they're not "there" :) good job on the cake balls tho! They look delicious!!

  • @sparklyblonde1 you're BOTH wrong, they're called IM GONNA DEVOUR THEM EITHER WAY!

  • @MrTherandom75

Actually cake pops are light and fluffy

They are baked in a ball shape

  • Where do you get the almond barl

  • @kurdishcakes Supermarket or Walmart.

  • @kurdishcakes you can find it at almost any supermarket. I found it at my local Walmart.

  • I like how you used half the frosting in the cake. I find it too sweet when the whole can is used.

  • This is exactly what I needed but I already started on them but I have no icing for the cake!! What do I do?!?!

  • cake pops?

  • FAIL ONES

  • this video was really good, i finally found someone making REAL cake balls, not with a little electric machine that bakes in 10 minutes. this was great and you made it look so easy. most videos make it so complicated

  • @Pl8tob Thanks! It sure would be alot easier with one of those electric ones lol. Love making these though:)

  • @sparklyblonde1 it is but i was trying to find someone actually baking them like a real baker might! and they look delish

  • thumbs up if you didnt know she was gonna crumble the cake squares and she was just really bad @ cutting too ;)

  • @Pl8tob lol

  • THAT. LOOKS. FRIGGIN. DELICIOUS.

  • this is an awesome treat!! good job!!

  • Quick question..... When you added the shortening to the bark, you didn't have to reheat?! Seems that you would, or maybe the heat generated from mixing it in melted it enough to give it the consistency needed?!

    Thanks and Great video! :~)

  • @AnitasMassage She melted the bark in the microwave, so it's probably at least at 100°F or much greater. I'd think the shortening would melt off that amount heat alone.

  • What is the song you used ???

  • I'm guessing you can buy a premade pound cake and use it instead of having to bake the cake? These look like something I want to do :)

  • @purpleotz if you want the coating to be vanila of chocholate you need to use coating not icing.

  • Can u melt vanilla or chocolate icing instead of almond bark? And how many cake balls does one box of cake mix make? How long do they last for before they go bad? Thanks!!!!! My friend made them and they were amazing! She never told me how to make them so i looked it up and found this video:) its soooo helpful!

  • @purlpledotz Icing will not work. If you don't want to use almond bark, you can use candy melts or chocolate chips. If kept in the fridge they stay fresh for about 2 weeks. Good luck:)

  • omg! YOU ARE AWESOME!!! THANKS SO MUCH ^_^

  • Omg yumm.... Ur nails are gorgeous

  • wow thx for sharing! im gonna make these for the holiday!

  • Where did you buy the almond bark?

  • I made this last night, they turned out great!! I can't wait to try different combo's. Thank you for such a simple way of making these :)

  • cool!

  • Great video, cute music, will try tomorrow. Thanks for posting!

  • yummmmmmmm

  • i love u ur so amazing

  • @ThePotatoescangiggle I tried using Icing, it doesnt work... And it kinda taste bad when icing is used instead of Candy Melts or Almond Bark. Next time, I'll use Candy Melts instead because Frosting doesnt work.

  • Also does Almond bark taste like white chocolate or what do they taste like? Also can I just using icing to dip them into?

  • Are you supposed to freeze the cake balls after dipping them in icing or just let them sit until hard???

  • Extreeeemely helpful video! Just got done making these with your help (:

  • Did u get this from yoyomax12 ????

  • @ToffeePudd I have no idea who yoyomax is.

  • @sparklyblonde1 you should search yoyomax12 she makes such cute cupcakes!! x

  • @ToffeePudd yoyomax12 did not invent cake pops.

  • I never heard of cake pop until your video thank you!!! :D

  • im gonna make these!!!! thanks for the vid! fast and to the point!! =]

  • can i use regular chocolate?

  • adr1z LOL

  • THEY HAVE THE ALMOND BARK AT ALDIS :)

AHAHAHA RANDOM BUT I WAS SO EXCITED :P

    KAY BYE :)

  • this was so awsomely epic looking! I can't wait to use this with different cake mixes for my boyfriend! :D

He loves cake and chocolate, woot!

    I loved the video! :)

  • OMG THEY LOOK LIKE TRUFFLES!!!! YUMMY!

  • Your microwave says Ouch :'D

    Now that's impressive...

  • Those r so GROSS!!!!! My friend made them this Thanksgiving she sent me home with them I took a bite and then i totally tossed them in the GARBAGE!!!!

  • @RayLoBabe maybe ur friend did them with garbage, cuz they were for u.... just saying...

  • i do not recommend just melted chocolate. it burns really easily. candy melts might be hard to find, but they work the best, come in many colors, and are cheap (in the US at least)

  • I'm making some cake balls right now. The cake is in the oven! I wonder if yellow cake and lemon frosting will make a good match.

  • looks good!!

  • these take hella time to make.

  • if we cant find almond bark what else can we use

  • is the almond bark chocoalate?

  • Do you have to use cream cheese icing , or anykind if fine ?

  • @KaylaBabbyy You can use any kind you like:)

  • i tried this out today and they turned out great! my family loved them! thanks so much for sharing this awesome recipe! :)

  • @JessieGirl933 Your welcome! I'm glad everyone loved them:)

  • All the ingredients are horrible artificial full-of-sugar-full-of fat plastic! Yuck. Sorry.

  • @bettidoherty Well they are a dessert food you know lol. They are not meant to be eaten every day. But thanks for the sweet comment:) I never quite figured out why people need to leave comments like these. If you don't like a video simply click out of it.

  • Very helpful video! Thanks so much!

  • @micandosmum Your welcome.

  • I have to say the best type of cake pop/ball is CHOCKOLATE! my mom got some as a gift at holloween and they were in a calderon and omg so good! :3

  • @PearlyPepsiPop I love chocolate!

  • Despite not having the groovy music playing while I was making these, they turned out perfect for game day today! I used strawberry cake and cream cheese frosting, and then almond bark and round sprinkles like you did, and those little suckers went like hot cakes! They were the hit of tailgating! Thank you for this easy and delicious recipe.

  • @mts0628 Your welcome! Glad everyone enjoyed them:)

  • These are so cute!!! I'm making them for a party tonight, this was such a great video! :)

  • @SydneyGirl575 Thanks! How did they turn out?

  • @sparklyblonde1 They turned out amazingly! they were such a hit at the party and everybody wanted to know how I made them! I sent everybody a link to this video :)

  • That is a GREAT idea!!!! I am going to do this over the holidays!! :-) Thanks!!

  • um instead of candy melts can you use frosting to frost them?
