Having children confirmed Catholic at 12 or 13 when their too young is sick and not impressive at all. Morality came before religion. The Greek philosophers have spoke about the golden rule, but that was more from a philosophical take. The golden rule didn't just come from god.

The Bible is not a good moral guide. Christians today need to pick verses that fit well with their inconsistent religion. Deuteronomy 22:28-9 says a rapist must marry his victim: If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found. Additionally Deuteronomy 22:28-9 doesn't use the word "Force" like the earlier verses that deal with rape. So it may just mean Fornication. Since in Judaism having sex with an unmarried woman can in some cases contract an automatic marriage. It was called "Marriage threw Intercourse" there are volumes written about it in the Talmud. We Catholics don't believe in Sola Scriptura(Bible Alone) or in the perspicuity of Scriptures FYI.

I think that's pretty much correct. I personally would watch those videos just because they sound funny, but I wouldn't watch one that I would find spiritually offensive.
Besides thats going a little overboard to prove a point, a tactic I myself use often but anyway... FSMDude wasn't as far as I know, claiming any such thing, he was killing a wafer.

I am happy to be intolerant of Eucharist desecration as well as Holocaust denial & the KKK burning crosses. You don't seem to be & yet you get upset when I point this out? Weird. Plus there is nothing to debate. Some things are just WRONG. Stealing objects others hold sacred so you can violate it & rub it in their face is wrong. It's entirely possible. However, George Washington was an important political figure. So was Hitler. Is it not convienient that some carpenter is the son of Spaghetti-sorry- Son of God, rather than somebody who actually matters in the world?
For Jesus to exist without proof it is essential that he is a nobody, or people would look back through history, searching for a great and powerful man, to find nothing. A carpenter can be hidden because he is unimportant.

The idea that Jesus was a Myth is a discredited theory held by Skeptics from the 19th century. No modern secular historian would take that nonsense seriously. There is more historic evidence for Christ then there is for Socrates or Alexander the Great.Proofs for Jesus include the Roman historian Phiny the Younger, the Talmud, Josephus etc. This is the New Atheist version of Young Earth creationism & it's not scientific.

This is pure dogma. Donohue likes to say that non-believers are "dogmatic atheists". Of course, there is no dogma in non-belief in something, no mantra to recite, no ceremony to perform. Hypocrisy is a bad argument and immediately fails.
