and led zeppelin took it from Blue Cheer... so did Danzig.... Look up blue cheer & there second LP... Danzig took it straight from them and only changed one thing.... Ive got you in the site of my.... LOVE GUN.
Actually, How Many More Times was also called "The Hunter", by LED ZEPPELIN, but this is a completely different song. That's where he got it the FUCK from!
danzig didn't steal shit from zep...the hunter that danzig plays in this clip was written by albert king...the only thing that makes this related to zeppelin is the fact that it was stolen from an old blues musician....like 75% of all zeps's early shit
Agreed, after Chuck and John left that was it, those two were great- first two solo LPs were great, I'd say after the second record it went downhill fast. BTW Led Zeppelin incorporated part of the Hunter into How Many More Times on their first LP, get YOUR shit straight smartass and learn your Led Zeppelin. Blue Cheer did a version of it too.
The Hunter was a song recorded by a band named "FREE" not led zeppelin. Where the fuck did you get that idea from.Know your shit kid. Chuck Biscuts is ripping this shit apart. This is the only Danzig line-up worth anything. Everything after that 4th record sucks dick.
I still think the misfits version of Horror Business is better. Sounds more classic!

I never said Horror Biz was a bad song, I just said John Christ is one killer guitarist.

Cghost.........exactly. people that think music is all about technicality are tools

I take that back The hunter is a pretty cool too.
Cghost1031 4 years ago
Music isnt about difficulty. Horror Biz is a better song and yet more "simple".
Cghost1031 4 years ago
The Hunter was originally by Booker T. & The MG's.
Danzig's version is most similar to the Albert King one in my opinion.
Willie Dixon did not do this song, and Albert King certainly did not rip anything off Zeppelin.
Fenace777 4 years ago
I'll bet John Christ couln't wait to play those leads at the beginning of the Hunter after playing that easy song Horror Biz.

Guys, guys guys ...
It is an old blues tune - I believe Willie Dixon. Zep and BLue Cheer re-did it from them, and even Free did a version.
EVERYBODY did that song.

This is DANZIG, already, but it is SAMHAIN, it is just that Rick Rubin, only wanted Glenn as a soloist.

why does this only play 3 seconds?
dannyxstardust 5 years ago
It's funny that some confuse this with Samhain because Glenn's hair hasn't fully grown to a long heavy metal style.
Blink316E 5 years ago
yes this is danzig. to my knowledge "the hunter" was never recorded or performed by samhain, just led zeppelin.
awesome clip by the way. i wish someone had one of "evil thing"

does anyone know if this was Samhain or Danzig at the time? Because I thought he was Samhain for awhile with the Danzig line up but im not sure.
