When I was 15, I had surgery to correct scoliosis, and the surgery caused paralysis. Been in a wheelchair since 1999.

It's only hard if you let it be hard for you. I took what was handed to me, and threw the negatives out the window, and focused on positives. I wake up able to breath each day, that's a victory for me.
