  • Asa Bulls fan it felt good to hear Penny say how they feared playing the Bulls in RD one and wanted to move up to play someone else.

  • I still would take the penny over the steak!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • :26 nick anderson hurts himself celebrating

  • Penny could score like T-mac but he was a PG and his job was to get the others to score. Penny played against defenders like MJ, Pippen, Rodman, Olajuwon and more defenders that are on Nba all defense team. Tmac didn't play when handchecks were legal. Tmac played in the era where they play All-star game defense year round.

  • What would have been.

  • @nitsudEyeam7 wrong. and very wrong.

  • if Tmac was better than Penny he would have gotten out the First round of the playoffs by now.

  • @fabfive8 that's not really fair because tmac never had a shaq (not taking credit away from penny)

  • @billydakid6826 when O'Neal left town he still was able to get them out the first round. Tmac had Yao and a better supporting cast in Houston. My opinion on why penny is better is because he made everybody around him better, T-mac never did that. Penny gave MJ one his only playoff series loss in the 90's.

  • @fabfive8 tmac was at his best there was always someone injured. imagine if grant hill hadn't gotten injured or yao and whenever yao was healthy tmac was injured and when they were both healthy they had a horrible supporting cast so yeah it never worked out. (btw i know penny made everyone better and its a shame that injures ruin a lot of great players career).

  • @billydakid6826 I believe he was good but he wasn't better than Penny. He modeled his game after Penny....The student is never better the teacher. Grant Hill is overrated to me not a Duke fan but i agree with you about what you said injuries ruin a lot of careers.

  • @fabfive8 My friend I agree that T-mac's game was similar to Penny's but by saying that the student is never better than the teacher you are saying that the game will get worse as time passes...Every generation is learning from the previous generations...MJ modeled his game after the stars of the past like Dr J,,,Do u believe that Dr J was better than Michael Jordan? Just think about it...

  • @sotosfrancy MJ didn't model his game totally on Dr J. He like David Thompson and some others. T-mac modeled everything after Penny, only difference T-mac was more athletic. Penny was all around better player. I agree there are some exceptions to the rule "Teacher vs Pupil" but in this case I don't think so.

  • @fabfive8 I agree that MJ didn't model his game only after Dr J that is why I said "after the stars of the past like Dr J". In my view T-Mac is a different player than Penny even though their game is similar...I don't know who was better...it depends on the way you look at it because Penny never scored the way T-Mac did but he was more creative...anyway there are so many parameters that you have to take under consideration before you decide who was better that this post would never be enough

  • @sotosfrancy the sad thing about both players is what could've been. penny was electric before his knees gave out. a first ballot hall of famer. after the horrible left knee injury, i don't know if penny was ever really 100% again. but jordan was going to pass the torch to penny. he said in an interview once that he felt comfortable leaving the league in penny's hands

  • all orlando players get injured Penny,TMAC and grant hill playing for the magic is risky

  • Chuck Daly! Forgot he announced, what an awesome dude.

  • man i even had a hardaway jersey

  • I remember watching this game. I was so excited about the play and outcome of the game.

  • @Domini478 wow that's degrading. Rodman deserves his number retired in Chicago no question about it

  • I got them shoes hes wearing.... The retro ones tho =\

  • penny was bigtime, illmatic shot

  • Awesome highlight! Penny Hardaway was unbelievable!

  • the orlando magic organization sucks i hate how they treated the best player to ever wear that jersey. NUMBER ONE SHOULD BE IN THE RAFTERS (it dont belong to mcgrady or alston)

  • @fabfive8 exactly! why isn't Hardaway's jersey # retired yet?!?! along with Rodman's #91 in Chicago?!?!

  • @fabfive8 Wow for you to say this WOW I can not express or agree with you even more. This is why I hate them so bad.I used to be a tragic fan from late "92" TO "96".After Shaq left then they the fans & organization let Penny down & treated him like crap.I fucking hate them with a passion you don't understand & what you said is exactly why. Then when they had Mcgrady & Grant Hill they did the same to them.I don't support a team or fans who treat players like this.Awesome comment my friend.Eff them

  • @Mrmfkadamysticalone now wonder they suffering now with a no offense type of playa name dwight howard.

  • @Thutmosis7 Hells yea & also they wonder why they will never win a championship banner to go with their new arena.Fuck the orlando faggots or at least this is what I now call them.

  • @Mrmfkadamysticalone Yep you saw the other night when they were hanging with the heats at halftime? Then look how the heats destroyed them completely in the second half. I think the magic organization is curse. They could of or should of had several championship or more had they kept shaq and penny together. They decided they didn't care and now they suffer the consequence.

  • @Thutmosis7 You are so right & thanks for agreeing & knowing that what you sadi is so damn true.

  • @Thutmosis7 The Heat*

  • @fabfive8 Number 1 will not go in the rafters because he was only good for 4 seasons! McGrady is way better than Penny!

  • @fabfive8 as good as t-mac and gilbert arenas are, and for all the playground respect rafer alston has, penny hardaway was a much more versatile and special player than any of the forementioned. he was my favorite player to watch in the 90's along with jordan, reggie miller and charles barkley. if they all have there numbers retired, why not penny?

  • @TheMadeMan89 they're all hall of famers who played for those teams for at least 8 years. Penny isn't a HoF and only played for the Magic for less than 6 years. You don't retire a player's jersey just because he's a superstar and played for your team. Shaq will tell you that.

  • @ButterMilkPancakes in this case i think it depends on the organazation but i would say if i were the magic i would. He gave them his best seasons and didnt have any good seasons after and they traded him haha

  • Magic should have kept Aduebato. He knew how to utilise Penny
