@gs68 What's even worse is that it also plays during the happy endings or the joke ending even though the happy endings could have easily had a very upbeat J-Pop remix of the original Darius ending music and the joke ending could feature the Bubble Bobble music instead of this depressing song.

I prefer darius gaiden to the new shooters aswell like r-type final good graphics but no were near the gameplay value

You've got me hooked! Over the past few weeks the only game I've played is Darius Gaiden, I love this game to death now - I'm going to concentrate on learning more of the paths from now on. I also got hold of G-Darius hoping it would run OK on the PS3 but unfortunately the controller inputs freak out rendering the game unplayable.

I have a better replay on super-play, if you wanted to do point maximisation.

Sadly none of the home releases of G Darius play at the same speed as the arcade version

@Smraedis g darius is on taito legends 2 for the ps2 and plays way better then the ps1 version. no slowdown :)

You just gotta love Darius endings. The Engrish in it is of this kind where what they meant to say isn't so hard to figure out, but they do it in this wonderfully esoterically weird way.

Well that, and you gotta love all those fish ships and their names. I mean... Risk Storage, Odious Trident... Just great stuff.

if u go watch the darius gaiden one he uploaded in the final stage it says

along the lines of that they died in water but oddly the piolt was in a forest

How did you get the captain to shoot a laser? Without that trying to capture it seems impossible.

I think you have to be really close, and it seems to try and do that to stop you capturing.
