well first of all you would have to activate it for $35 and the phone is on a two year contract only for about 300 after mail in rebate..then you pick a plan of minutes and data plan and what not...a slide costs 200 after mail in rebate...

You can buy one of these at any t-mobile store on or after October 24th. It's $500 dollars by itself unless if you're upgrading from a Sidekick 3. I just preordered mine but only some t-mobile stores are letting people reserve one.

I've seen this guys ebay auctions they don't end for almost 2 days which puts you already at like Thursday or Friday. Then you have to pay. Then he has to ship which maybe Saturday, Monday, or even later whenever he decides to. Then the shipping is standard so that could take anywhere from 7-14 days. So by the time you get your Sidekick LX everyone else will have theirs and you will be out of $500- $700 not to mention almost 2 weeks behid others. Let's be smart people.
